Too many lol....how are those tigers looking?

Can someone give me a little info on bruceton and west carroll. Also, watch out for gleason. Didn't lose much and now has the group who won many many games in jr high.

It does appear that in the future there may be a shot clock introduced. But until then, the best teams will not complain about it...they will find a way to stop it. Defense wins championships. Just my two cents. Good luck to LC and Dresden!

Do you even follow basketball?? You're prediction might be right just because you never know how the games turn out but it wasn't because of your excellent knowledge of the game. Most people will not take you serious if you cannot even get an actual fact right. Did a district 13A or 14A team win the region. I think it was the same team who knocked out your jackets...correct??

Bump for the final score. I heard Greenfield was up 6 or 8 around halftime. Did they pull it off or what???

Haha yes I agree with you on that last part. Greenfield has so much talent upcoming that they do not need to get riled up on playing time. Wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers.

I agree with you greenfieldfan, Bradford is no where as good as they were last year.

The best teams know how to win despite mishaps like foul trouble or one player being injured. Greenfield has too many good players to make excuses about one player being out. From what I am hearing coach T's problem is he has alot of players that make good arguments for playing time. That is a good problem to have.....

Is Chandler healthy, or is he still recovering??

That might very well be true, but you have to remember that bruceton just got done playing football and I am not sure if their best player, Chandler Jordan, even played. If he did then he is not 100% because he missed the last part of the football season with an injury. But WC has some athletes and a good shooter in Hayden McClain.

I don't know much about a few of the teams but here is my attempt at predicting 13A (1)-Dresden (2)-Bruceton (3)-West Carroll (4)-Clarksburg (5)-Big Sandy (6)-Huntingdon (7)-Gleason (8)-Mckenzie (9)-Carroll Academy Like I said, I'll probably be dead wrong LOL but I think the top 2 are solid but am uncertain about the rest. I thought the McClerking kid still played for Clarksburg??? I also have Mckenzie behind Gleason because it takes them a while to get into their groove after football season. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!!

Gleason and Dresden SHOULD be the two teams out of District 13A, but when it comes to tourney time anything can happen. District 14A definitely has the talent to compete with anybody, but it depends on how prepared the teams are at tourney time and how disciplined they are. It appeared to me in the region tourney last year that the District 14A teams started out with a good gameplan, but became undisciplined as the game wore on and their frustrations rose. Back to 13A, Dresden is highly favored. Gleason has a chance but it depends on who will step up this year with their post play last year mainly being seniors and their best shooter was a senior. Can anyone tell me how strong dresden will be next year? Dresden- 35 Gleason- 19 Hopefully the dawgs will forget about it being homecoming and show up to play.

Just a few notes from the game: Gleason an the ball well from many different people. The fullback James Owen carried the ball alot and had some big runs for Gleason. Also, halfback Dalton Teeter had some big runs and TD's. And my favorite part of the game was that 8th grader Ian legens moved up and had a TD and almost another one. He made some ridiculous moves near the endzone too. Greenfield's passing game kept them in it. Potts is an outstanding athlete and made several good plays to his receivers. Their only problem was that it looked like they ran out of gas in the 2nd half. All in all, a great game but I was impressed with the tailgate party. Not only did they have that, but the Titans have donated a ball signed by Chris Johnson and some other Titan memorabilia that is being raffled until the end of the year. Praying for Drake!!

I think the final was 40 to 26. Congrats gleason!!!!

Both teams have solid, experienced quarterbacks. Gleason has a couple of senior in the backfield who need to let their experience show. Not sure about Greenfield's backs, but I know they have some experienced receivers. Gleason will win if both sides of the line and their defensive backs make plays. If they give the QB some time, he usually can make something happen. Greenfield will win if they can stop the run and if they can run the ball effectively at first. If they have success at the run early, then they can look towards passing the ball. Gleason vs. Greenfield is always an exciting rivalry and I enjoy wathching the two teams play no matter the outcome!!

I agree it will be a great game, but to me tonight there holds a bigger event than the game. Before the game, there will be A Tailgate for Drake in which all of the proceeds go to Drake. Also, Gleason natives purchased about 350 shirts that say tailgate for Drake. Hopefully tonight will be a lot of fun and everyone helps Drake in some way. With family ties to both towns, I wish the best of luck to both Gleason and Greenfield! Praying for Drake!!

Congrats on the win South Fulton!! I was really impressed with #6 and the quarterback. Also #23 i believe was very quick! Gleason couldn't get it going but I was impressed by the long TD pass we threw for our second score. And also, South Fulton is always a classy bunch! Thanks so much for the donations for Drake!!

I believe someone is having a yard sale in gleason. Maybe both towns will be doing one!!!
