I agree that the winning at all cost in little league is laughable. But you can also look at them and say that with good coaching and if this or that group stays together they will be good/competitive. Kids come and go but a core group staying together is key. Learning how to compete and techniques should be more important than winning!

I agree 100%. I hate to see any of these kids injured. I know how hard they work and what the memories they make will mean to them when they get old like me!I love the rivalry and all the jabbing that goes along with it but it is and always be about these young men!

Starting kids late or holding them back has become the norm. I applaud his parents for giving him the best opportunity to succeed. I didn't see that comment necessarily as a jab but it is irrelevant and shouldn't have been brought up. As far as the comment on an "unbalanced schedule, I agree with TTP. We would have the same record as we do now. Hixon/Central are very comparable. The only other team you played any different is Bell. Would we beat them? Who knows. But I don't believe they handled you guys as easily as we did.

All private schools should play in a seperate division as public schools. (period)

Congrats to my friends in Whitwell. The Tigers played very hard all year. I expect this game to be closer than most think.

Deon is another kid that just seems to stay dinged up. The bye week will really benefit them both. I am sure there are others that need it as well. Very excited about the upcoming playoffs.

yeah your right. marion county will never beat s.p. again. all i know is that in my lifetime we are 22-18 against south kimball. so maybe we will get another by the time i kick the bucket and maybe i will also get to see tn beat florida again as well. wishfull thinking i guess

From what I hear my warriors played hard and have nothing to hang their head about. I knew the skillet heads had more talent and we never quit. Finish the season strong and prepare to break the streak next year cause I believe we are on the verge of our own streak. Good luck to Cornbread Capital the rest of the year and represent the valley well as you normally do. I believe a gold ball is very reachable for those young men and the only thing in the way is themselves. As for my warriors let's finish strong!
