Campbell is the only successful one of the three but yet he is left out i dont understand.. and why would he leave to be an assistant to antioch when he was asked to apply for the head job and he didnt cause he liked overton. what other names have you heard?

Work, what do u think of mcphail, Campbell and Crawford, and who would u pick from that bunch?

You guys heard any names on who is getting interviews? I heard Campbell is the front runner. I think that could be a good fit, Overton needs to get over the "we want an Overton guy".... Campbell is a hard nosed well organized coach.. I think he can keep the tradition of good football going there

That's your opinion too, I have relatives on their team and they all say he is always in the office and he comes out the last 45 mins of practice and all this comes from formers players and coaches so I'm not callin him out I'm repeated what seem to be true and what I was told. I don't make this up, and they chose their schedule so that's their fault for goin 3-7. HowdoItKnow u seem to always take up for PC LIKE UR THEIR LAWYER smh they are overrated

The Box Darden kid a couple years ago, I'm a family friend so I kno exactly how it went down but I'm down with Pearl Cohn they will continue to disappoint until Tommy Wilson is removed from defensive coordinator. I've heard he doesn't put in the work and it shows, Orr the years the kids natural ability is what made their defense so dominant but lately his scheming has been terrible but any way I see STEWART posted some opening I wonder who will apply for it to help him out and I wonder who they will scrimmage for a spring game

I know for a fact that Pearl recruits the kids out of their zone, the kids, coaches and parents have admitted to it. They were caught last year but the kids parents lied about their housing situations, but hey you are innocent until proven guilty, but all im saying is at least steal kids and dominate smh they had the same record as Stratford and East. I agree with you about Woodard, he is a bit overrated to me, he hasnt did anything with his SO CALLED BEST Spread Attack, and his zone is one of the largest. You can run that system with the kids i have saw him with over the past seasons. Gore doesnt change his scheme over the years, he molds them to fit it.

I really don't understand how Woodard is so high on a list, can someone explain to me what he has done? Second Pearl Cohn should dominate every year from all the hard work their staff puts in at stealing all the other high schools kids. They have 115 players and only win 3 games this year!!!! Their staff is not that good they only win of their dominance of better jimmy and joes than other schools , this year they didn't have a stand out RB/WR/FB So when u gta coach and scheme pearl Cohn was showed up. As far as the kids going to college that's some crap, the kids gt book scholarships Nd take out $50,000 in loans to go D1 smh they don't tell that part. I have witness them practice head coach and Wilson was nowhere to be found they ran offense for 2 hours two days in a row. Smh. Congrats to Stewart and the journey he has a head at the Creek cause he has his hands full

This in my opinion was a big mistake, they should of hire the OC from CCHS or anyone else heck. This guy got the job cause he played pro ball and his wife pulled some strings for him since she is the head principal at Pearl Cohn. They won't win 10 games in three years. He has no coordinator experience and no coaches wanna stay there and help. This transition will be eye opening

This post above me is really ignorant, by pass all rules and regulation because he was in the NFL SMH really? That doesn't mean they can coach kids, and relate to them and their problems or show them a better way of solving them. It doesn't mean they are qualified on teaching kids that although they love football it's more than just that not all nfl athletes can teach kids to become a man and handle responsibilies and prepare for the real world...

Stratford needs a fresh start with all new coaches a couple of years and they will be back to at least 5-5 team.

Not that I know of except his wife is principal at pearl Cohn, it's not been announced yet because they can't find him a job yet

I hear there are kids in the building but they dont want to play for the guy, and there isnt any real coaches in the building. I've been told the young coach they had Jamal Stewart has left for Hillwood, and he was the only coach the kids played for or respected. Ive met him before and he is very football smart and has great re pore with kids he just get overlooked because he has been coaching with the Harell guy and his loyalty to Stratford. I hate it for the kids but Their head coach is truly terrible and doesnt seem dedicated.

What's going on over there, I hear there is no spring football cause the guy coaches track so he cancelled it Smh this guy is killing what little is left if the program...

howdoitknow2, I dont know MJ but I have heard he is a great guy and coordinator, he should get a far shake at the job, like i believe every good assistant should, but the support, finances, the kids that dont play that cause problems for the athletes that do play, stealing zoned kids, not having a full staff are just some issues that will be faced. That's probably a big difference in what MJ or any outsider is use to

Metro is Metro, people from the outside always seem to make it seem like its not that bad, but actually it is....... Whites Creek is possibly the worse school in athletics in Metro right now, all because of losing their zoned players to other schools and the lack of participation in the building. Its possible to improve but the kids in that area really need a coach that can relate to them and get on common ground with their vision. Like it was mentioned earlier, spend a day there and see if you really want to get involved in a situation like that before making assumption

The new head coach of WHites creek will be SCott Murry from Glencliff. THis was very surprising knowing that green was taken care of the team since phillips departure, but we know METRO WILL BE METRO

This is a great rivalry but its kinda been one sided for awhile.. yeah we ran up on east and hit em in the mouth early and we played great defense held them under 90 yards rushing. I dont know why but they turn it up at the end of the year. They seem to be very hungry after hearing if they win they are in the playoffs. But that 2 headed monster of Hagan and Vanlier is nothing easy and their best defensive player dewayne "too sweet" smith should win all metro defensive player of the year. We just going to come out and try an execute our game plan and see what we can come away with

...You won't hear anything from Brainerd fans on Coacht...they might do ok this year but Coach Marvin will have them ready...they should have the usual skill athletes! i know your a tyner guy but what kind of offense and defense do they run b/c we have a spring game against them

Like i said yal will never beat a Metro team, matter of fact tell your coach to schedule one this summer , thats what you do... yall will never compare to metro speed... AND Marshall COUNTY Really??? no where near the caliber of players in metro. sorry to burst your bubble got but just cause you look up stats doesnt give you a clue. And aw yea for the record the 2003 season wasnt tainted, but the 2004 season those kids didnt play until we was up by 30.. just give up guy and talk to some coaches at the rec center where your opinion matters... you feel like you have some authority cause your the GET BACK GUY on the sidelines on fridays nights.....L_O_S_E_R!!!! Umm......Cheatham County, good or bad, has a winning record vs all metro school with the exception of whites Creek. Check the records.
