cloudland was very tough from what I can see, tribute to your guys and your coaches, played your tails off. Rebounding killed you guys. Potter kid is very solid. Nobody from region 1 won. Maybe first time ever in state tourney history? Shocked. Region 2 had an upper level A AA AAA this yr. Shocked by science hill losing.

SO they lost the Fair girl? She was tough last yr from what I could see. Do the still press and play rough physical style, I remember them from last yr. The will beat you up on glass.

Oak ridge has too much pressure on defense and pushes ball too much, Plus the impact of playing at "wildcat arena" Oak ridge has state tournament type team. Any body in sub state has earned right to be there, no bad teams in the position, oak ridge by 15 tho. Oak ridge will have there hands full when they get to boro tho. should be exciting.

From what I have seen it will be good match up, Wartburg and Cloudland both have history of getting to boro, and both have met before in 2007 I think? Wartburg has size and athleticism, what does cloudland have, I know they have couple solid shooters?anyy body else know?

1A bracket will be interesting to see, obviously jackson and clarkrange both are regulars and could be 7A final, but union city has grorp who could win it, and cloudland has a strong post game and solid guards. should be exciting. SUmmertown impressed last yr, who ever gets them girls from s-town will have to be on their toes first round. They came out on fire and knocked out high powered lake co last yr. be exciting

I think that good teams show up wherever and whenever. Look at state tourney, no bad teams there, no home court either way just people playing ball. PLus you can earn home court advantage for first round of district and first round of region??? If its such a big deal, maybe that entire district should just play at neutral gym, like scott high? or maybe some YMCA?? LOL

homecourt don't matter in semi games of region no bad teams left. Props to OS they played well down stretch. OS should beat grace, atleast I hope so. SUb state games will be interesting for both , upper east Tn has tremendous size

I agree. I think Grace will get a wake up call, tigers will be very physical. Grace can't play rough, every body who beats them just plays too tough. Grace is soft. Wartburg and harriman will be up and down the floor, harriman is playing well which is what ya want, but Wartburg has too much talent, and been here before, alot and often. Experience and talent tough combo together.( would not be suprised is X man has wild game, him and fountain be scoring battle. Fountain has more help though as far as team play goes. Should be exciting. !!

I agree with you, however,Wartburg wil make the region, I think leadership is something very hard for a player to have to understand, maybe hardest part for some. Jason Davis always seems to motivate well and has good understanding of how to gets kids to believe, esp around the post season, should be exciting tourney, Get a W and you move on. I would say he will be 4/5 game vs oakdale I would assume. I think Hamby girl at Coalfield has played tremendous for them, definetly needs respect. The district will be dominant in region again I would think. ,Although From what I could tell and my sources, upper East Tn region 1 will take both State spots. TOo much strength on that end. Cosby, Hamptom, North Greene, Cloudland, and maybe a sleeper . Be interesting to watch.

I think this district 4a tourney will be most interesting one in yrs. Usually the winner of this region has good chance of making state tourney birth, but upper region 1 has 2 or 3 loaded teams. be hard this yr for anyone in district 3 or 4 to get to the boro!

District 7a will most always have a hand in the glass house, either clark range or jackson county. every once in a while somebody else gets the gold ball but last decade, been all between them two. In east tn, I think grace girls, oliver springs, and maybe anonymous other will make a substate, north greene, cosby and cloudland, , none of those will make it past quarters or semis in glass house tho. as far as single A goes

Well, From what I have seen, they very well may be 3rd ranked, their past 2 yrs resume speaks well, and 5 legs and a tail, you must have hard time finding a pair of pants.

If this is true, its got to be Coach powers from Rockwood. A very good young coach, and also has had experience at high school, assisting. That would be a great hire for them.. Very good fundamentals guy and teaches game right way, also a very good teacher I think English or Math?

Very true , but coaches and games come and go, kingston job would be tough but if you could make some noise there it would garnet attention, but the pay is very high, compared to most, although district is very tough, be interesting to c how the job opening, I hear it will be social studies position. Prolly end up being a young coach b/c older coaches dont want to try and build a program,.

Agreed, they won't quit either, I hear they move to AA in 2013, I am just waiting to see Grace have a Brittany Griner come in lol and say she is some missionary kid who wants to attend a great school o yeah and she is 6'8'' and can dunk lol

I think he would stay at Loudon good kids coming back, maybe look toward a younger middle school coach, or possibly guy out of knoxville area
