The same thing can be said for the way Lake Co. fans talk about T.T., Carnation, and Simone. Just sayin'

As I said, everyone believes that there players don't foul. Every time a ref blows a whistle, one side is happy and the other side boos. The refs are right 95% of the time. Jordan Gailey does not get "star" treatment. Everyone can point to a foul that they believe the other team's main player got away with. Most refs call a pretty good game, and anyone that is not a Lake Co. fan that is objective would say that T.T. is good but out of control a lot. It is not the end of the world. It is just a true statement.

T.T. is a great player. There is no doubt about it, but she also plays out of control at times. That is one reason she will not get those "close" calls as you say. When you go into the lane out of control, you will get called for charges. Also, most of the time they are not close. They are definitely charges. Every home town person thinks the calls against their team are wrong, but 95% of the time the refs are right. T.T. is a veteran in years played, but she is still younger than most in her class. She will most likely figure out how to play in control. If and when she does, she will be even better than she is now.

I have a lot of friends from Gleason. I graduated from Bradford, and I live in Greenfield. lol Congrats to Gleason. I am very surprised not just that you beat Bradford, but that you scored some. The bottom line is that you lost some girls last year that are extremely hard to replace. Gleason still has some players, but they are not the Gleason that we are used to seeing. They will do well in 13a, but they would be the 4th team in 14a. That is my opinion of course, but I just don't think they can play with a Greenfield or Lake Co. this year.

Isn't Patrick Willis the only player to be a finalist for Mr. Football back and lineman? I would say that is pretty good.

I think Dresden will win the district. However, I don't think they will be in the region finals. I believe the 3 best teams in the region are all in 14A, and maybe even the top 4. On a given night anything can happen, but my opinion is that they are not quite there yet for the region.

Anyone that blames any part of Greenfield's loss on a bad night just isn't being honest. Trenton made us look bad. I believe Greenfield can be a playoff team this year, and Trenton just dismantled them. Trenton is really good.

Dresden has a good team, but after watching Trenton play, I have no idea how they lost to Dresden. In my opinion, Trenton is by far the superior team.

I asked Greenfield's coach what defense they run and he told me all they run is the 5-3 and the 4-4

I could be wrong, but I think Volfan's reply was more of a statement against the nay sayers from last year.

Well, Greenfield does throw the ball quite a bit. I think they threw it 28 or 30 times against S.F. Not sure how much they threw against West Carrol. Greenfield will have to play a clean game to win. We can't turn it over or have all the penalties we had against West Carrol. We also need to create a couple of turnovers. If we do these things, we can win. BTW, great job Coach Rodehaver.

Sadly, the guy we finally brought in for relief is a very good pitcher. He would be a number 1 on most teams. Our number 3 aint to bad either. Still not sure what the thought process was myself. Oh well, game is over. I hope Adamsville does well at state. BTW, I don't think anyone overlooked Adamsville. I know Greenfield didn't. We knew we were in for a fight before the game started.

Congrats Adamsville. You have a talented baseball team. I must say that I will be scratching my head over this game for awhile. Great year Greenfield.

For starters, we are 4-1 against you this year. The last 3 meetings we have beat you by a combined score of 32-7. We are back to back district and region champs. I believe we handled you pretty good last year. Besides, the only reason we bring up other sports is because you guys do in other sports worse than what you are crying that we did to you. You can't do what you do in other sports and then cry foul when it happens to you. It makes you sound like a bunch of whiners and cry babies.

As far as I know. I just came from the field and it appeared to be o.k. to me, but then again, I don't make the decisions.

Ok first of all we are talking about baseball, not basketball(which by the way our basketball team has won 5 state championships and you guys are garbage in and have never won anything in). Second, 10 or 20 points in basketball is majorly different from 10 runs in baseball. In basketball down by 20 if you hit a couple 3s you're back in the game. And if you want to throw other sports into this, you know what our football team did this year, and on the road to that state championship, we smashed you on your own field 35-0. For the record, I did not make the comment about basketball. Not sure how my name got tagged in it. That being said, I have seen plenty of teams come back from 8-10 run leads in baseball these days. No lead is safe. And what about football. You guys didn't call off the dogs with a huge lead so why should we. I guess you must have been mad at your coach for being so unsportsmanlike. It is funny when the shoe is on the other foot. I will take the line from purple and gold here too when I say that I guess you guys just need to get better.

Apparently some people are upset that they got beat. How did we look on the field? We are 4-1 against UC with 2 of the last 3 by the way of 10 run rule.

The wonderful time of this game was set by Greenfield officials. However, the Wednesday night part was set by TSSAA. I believe the talk around town is the the church of Christ is having a Devo at their building at 4:30 for all who would like to come. I love baseball very much, but I will not miss church because of a game. The regions should have been Monday and Tuesday with the sub-state being Thursday or Friday. So much for the bible belt I guess. I am pulling for you Jackets.
