I expect a close game. Seems like we always struggle with Mt Pleasant no matter the records. As always they will have good speed so we will need to contain and tackle well.

Never though we were #1. I know what a number 1 team looks like. However, I thought we should be ranked ahead of Moore County and CA since we had beaten both of them.

CA has Perry County(win), Collinwood(win) and Loretto(??)

I know that polls don't mean anything but I looked Wayne County up on Max Prep today. What a JOKE. CA is raked #4 in the state and that counts the lost last night and Moore County is still ranked ahead of us. Keep the pedal to the metal WC your fans believe in you.

I've watched parts of several of CA's games and they look much improved from last years team. They make you cover the entire field with their offense. I think that we are much improved from last year as well.I don't care who you play when you average 42 a game that's really good. Coach Rice and the boys want this one real bad and had a good day of practice on Wednesday. Won't be long now so we'll see. GO CATS!

I don't really know the condition of Tyler Keeton but got word at the Wayne County/Loretto game that he could have suffered a serious neck injury and was transferred to Nashville from the Perry County game.My prayers from Waynesboro. Let's let him know and the Collinwood football family that we are praying for his recovery.

I think we will have to score 30 to win. There backs or no faster than the backs from Fayetteville but they block much better than Fayetteville. We better bring our A game tonight. They don't have a defensive lineman as good as 34 last week or a linebacker as good as 32. But overall I think they will be better than Fayetteville on Defense. Won't be long now so we'll see.

If you eat at Emeralds you might want to get there before 6 to make the game on time. Usually they are busy on Friday nights.

Coach Rice has very little to do with the offense and doesn't call the plays.Coach Crews has the offense and has for years.

I'll tell you that every player and coach from Perry County that has busted their tails all summer and every practice will care! ! IMO You just let you're true feelings about the football progam in PC out of the bag. If your a true PC supporter for life then you care. Or is football something that you just do waiting for you're favorite season's to begin. The rest of state and posters may not care if we win but they will take notice if we lose. I think it will be a close game. GO CATS!

PC will be ready to play no doubt about it. I've seen there films and we better be the one's ready to play. I didn't really want to say this because we did play tons better Friday night. Fewer penaltys and no turnovers was great. Defense was much better and more aggressive. However, I don't know what's going on within the Moore County team but I though that they were the worse team that we have played all year. They were one dimensional so if you stop the run there done.

I can't find to much information on Decatur Co. The only thing that I keep hearing is that they have a big strong quarterback who can run and pass it around pretty good. I know that they scrimmaged Huntingdon and Hardin Co. I would like to get some feedback from someone from those schools. How did those scrimmages turn out?

No, Wayne County will not play again until the 23rd.

The cats will get a good idea how much they have improved when they scrimmage Davidson Academy Friday. I hear that Daniel Devers has moved back and will make an imediate impact on our team. He has been living in Florida and understand that he was an all state wrestler there. Strong safety, linebacker or corner but he will get on the field somewhere.

I guess we'll have a good game to watch then.

If you're talking about the team that played at Moore County I can see why you think that.We've come a long way since then.

I figured that there was more to the story.There always is. I wasn't there but heard about it at th CA/WC game. When I watched the video posted I could see Mr Luker on the sidelines. To me when a principal comes on the sidelines following a game it's because he might expect trouble, In my opinion the only reason Collinwood left the field when they did was to avoid possibly a very ugly situation. Yes it looked bad but what might have happened could have been much worse. I also was there when Waynesboro player put the wreath at mid field following the game. I thought it was wrong then too. It was done by one of our players and as far as I know not premeditated. I don't think that anyone tried to start a fight from Waynesboro but what do you expect when emotions are that high and someone does something like that.

Last years team had 18 seniors and 3 or 4 juniors( i think). Wildcat 70 is correct in the fact that our first subs were seniors or juniors that did not start. Brandon lowe (5) played a ton last year.38(junior) and 70(Freshman) were the only ones that got meaningful first team snaps. If single A teams had the resources and coaches to really coach the Jr varsity kids it would make a huge difference. Like most schools of our size, once the group drills are finished the majority of the kids take a knee and watch.

09 set everything in motion to get us where we are today. Biggest difference between 09 and this team was defense. Great defense and ball control time eating drives.

Remember we had two big plays called back for holding calls that would have made a big difference in the final score aganist huntingdon. We did not make those mistakes against SP. Only 3 penalties I think aganist SP.
