So go get that Gold Ball! And we will be back next year, at home and talk about this game again! Haha and if you don't hear me again "Have a Great Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and not so happy new year because we play again next year, more than likely!

Well there one thing for sure refs wanted out of the rain. 2 pass interference in end zone as plain as day at the end not called. I could tell the refs were ready to leave. That's sad!

I was going to say if anything, that 2Nd half was a disaster awaiting to happen after the kickoff. Our defence definitely played there super bowl last week. Simple plays into tds for Greenville.

I don't think this is premature! Greeneville just out played us tonight! Hats off to Quellen one man show against a good defense! Go Greenville and win that Gold ball! Congratulations to an outstanding Anderson County Mavs team. They said you couldn't get this far and you did it; just fell a little short on this given night. Proud of the Mavs Seniors and good luck in the future! You sure gave us a Great, exciting and unexpected year! Nothing to hold your heads down, at all! The rest of the Mavs get ready for next year and remember this game!

How's the weather in Greeneville???

The point is up 21 and keep scoring 30 something of points would have not been enough to stop Stanton. But face it we both had teams that would have won the Gold. And congratulations to that fine crew of players and coaching.

I few years back way back say late 60's early 70 my brother was playing for the Lafollette Owls. On a Thursday night someone from the opposing team hung a real Owl on the goal post and mailed Black roses to the Owls. This was a home game for the owls. They managed to get the Lafollette Owls fired up and won that game big. So fast forward a few years after graduation the pranksters come forward with details. Turns out they were really Lafollette Owl fans and the worst of it was that the coach may have been involved. So it was all in fun, except the dead Owl. Believe it or not, I was there. Still have images of that poor Owl hanging from the goal post.

I remember the game from TV only/radio. And as a Mavs fan, had he not got injured, and yes I am biased, but up 21 and they had no answer to Stanton or RB because they could not cover everyone.... To me that was a lost GoldBall. But I can't say that, I guess, since we lost. Anyways we have a chance to advance tonight with higher expectations.

It's one thing to boo players but when you kick Ella them fighting words,! In all honesty I was not there but I have heard a thing from time to time. But again that is here say. I know you have had a few fan on here from time to time that may have pushed the limit. Not noons he has always been a class act and has kept me from losing my class act lol, if I had one, from time to time. This should be another good game. I am leaning Mavericks., of course.

My challenge mentally knowing Greeneville. I know they will come out and want to score quickly. They like to take the wind out of teams early. They have did it every game, even last year. There 1st series they will pull a quickie to get down field. It's a chess game between these two teams. Greeneville had some good quick plays on Betsy early. The Mavs past couple years are more Methodical and wait to pounce based on defense. But I think this being an away game the Mavs need to be more up beat and probably try some up tempo and score quickly take the crowd out of it and let the defense go to work.... then methodically work the drive until opportunities arise. Big question mentally for all: The coin flip if Greeneville wins do they take the Ball? If AC wins toss, do they take the ball first? IMO for AC, if they win the toss they probably will defer. Greeneville I think, wants the ball. I think IMO AC's knows games aren't won in 1,2, or 3 quarters but in the 4th quarter. They want the ball 2nd half. Although they haven't done a lot past 2 years on 2nd half initial drives, IMO they finally will.
