  1. I hate to hear that. ^ I was looking forward to seeing what he could do this year.
  2. Yes and I am one of them....How could we go about organizing one? I am more than Interested in this idea.
  3. Practice is usually at Cookeville High School at 3:30. I go to tech and help out there with the wrestlers. I'm not sure how far away you are, but I'm sure Coach Cook would be able to point you in the right direction.
  4. Drop by the Highschool any day this week during practice and I'm sure we can get you straitened out.
  5. I was aware of that fact, but I'm just making a prediciton.
  6. I still think Haynes is the frontrunner at 130.
  7. Yes, Mr. Jacobs does a fine job of photographing Region 1 action.
  8. I'm staying @ 135. I can't speak for Buchannon. Also Zeke, did you not start the season @ 125? Did you hit a major growth spurt? I saw where you wrestled some @ 140 and was just wondering.
  9. Ricker just drop me a line @ DBHSwrestler on AIM and i will fill you in. There is no need to advertise on CoachT.
  10. Could this get any more hostile???
  11. And he has the greatest signiture line in the world......except for maybe some latin, but even the angels prefer wrestling.
  12. He's a freshman and first year wrestler. No excuses, just info.
  13. I'm going w/ Usary. The fact that he came back from being down 5-0 in the state finals to win in overtime speaks volumes for him.
  14. I'm about 95% sure that Williamson is at the Hill.
  15. Yes that would be him. I got to roll around with him a little this summer and he's solid for a freshman. I would say he will easily place in the region this year.
  16. I think Greeneville has a pretty good freshman coming up.
  17. Where did DB finish @ the regional meet today?
  18. Eastern Tennessee courses are definately tougher. Daniel Boone's course is probably the toughest in East TN because of Moody Hill and its a two lap course.
  19. Knee pads arent for panzies. I didnt use to wear a knee pad on my left knee and i screwed it up. Now i have to wear a bulky orthopedic just so my knee wont swell up if i land on it.
  20. We went to a camp last summer and their were some college guys there that just had insane ears. Ears are almost a symbol of a wreslter's sacrifice. Ive played most major sports and wrestling requires the most sacrifice. The fact that you don't care what a sport does to your body and you still compete shows how dedicated most of these guys are.
  21. Yeah i wasn't even trying to compete. You definitley own me on the ears. I gotta admit i really like em. I wouldn't mind them, but my dad gets upset. My girl likes it though. She will rub my cauliflower if were sittin on the couch or drivin somewhere. Yeah i know i got VERY lucky
  22. I got cauliflower ear this season, but i never wore my headgear. I got by with it for several years, but cauli is often caused by one severe blow(in my case a knee). I doctor can drain the ear, but it is often more troulble than its worth. Ive had mine drained 3 times and it has come back in some form, but usually smaller. The last time a had it drained they stiched a cotton roll through my ear so that the cauli couldn't re-expand, but it did slightly. If you leave the ear alone it will eventually become hard and be a permanent thing. Its really up the wrestler if he wants to get it fixed or not. The ear is very painful, but having your ear drained and stiched through isn't much better. Make sure the head gear is tight and won't slid, and that should prevent further damage.

    Region 1

Practices have taken a more serious tone the past couple of weeks and im lovin it. Im actually weighing lighter than usuall and that helps alot. Im going 35 on thursday, but ill probably weigh in low to satisfy the weight program. Who does Greenville have at 30 and 35 now? I heard you dropped to 25 and Sneed was up at about 40.

At west greene we wrestled them and jeff county. The team lost both, but i had two tech falls. I don't let stuff go to my head you should know that, but i really appreciate SP? the fact that someone notices that i work hard. Oh by the way damien isn't the one i'll end up wrestling at the end of the year, if your alls line up stays the same. I guess ill see you guys thursday and im looking forward to it. thumb
