I am talking about the present not historically!

9a has community, MTCS, Forrest, Moore, Huntland, these are all pretty good teams. I am not talking about the past but from this point forward. I am also not saying 9a has the best team but an average of the best teams.

Part of the game yes, but a team should not depend on it. I am not taking anything away from Golden because I admire her game, but that team depends on the three. If it dosent go in then they get beat by a Richland or cascade. Look at their strength vs success. They are ranked way behind the top four.

I think that overall 9A is becoming the toughest district in the state. The amazing thing about this is that all of 9a is basically juniors and younger /w most being sophomores and freshman. What are your thoughts on this?

Lol like I said your team plays a style that will allow them to get some upsets but also lose to teams like Richland. If your three falls you have a shot but if not very weak teams will beat you.

There is no recruiting in murfreesboro??? Just all the talent moves to the same school zones.

They are great but trust me, they couldnt play at the level Blackman does. Blackman is just as skilled and twice as athletic.

Thought officials here were bad then went to Flordia for Christmas tournament. Trust me our officials are better. I can't believe some of the things that went on down there during games including officials verbally assaulting coaches. It was horrible. This was in the Panama City beach area. Stay away from this area if you want to watch a good game.

1. Community 2. MTCS 3. Moore 4. Forrest Community IMO just has a complete package. They have size, strength, speed, good coaching, and skill. Most of the other teams in the district have one or two of these qualities but not the complete package. Unless they have a bad night or a team up top plays extremely well community dosent loose a district game. MTCS can challenge them if they shoot the three well but will not get a lot of second chance opportunities. I think Community's post will have a big night.

MTCS is a single A school

Community needs to be on this list some where. They have the size inside and skill outside to make a big run this year. I think they make a big impact at state.

Think Moore county just needs to get healthy. Two 6 foot post players out right now. One with concussion and one with a broken foot. Missing two girls like that hurts any team much less a class A team.

No but I will be if they beat community mtcs and Forrest all this year. Huntland lives and dies by the three. In basketball you cannot sustain success by shooting the three.

By the way Huntland is at best a fourth or fifth place team in the district maybe lower if they loose to eagleville. If they beat community, Forrest, MTCS, Moore, and Eagleville this season I would be surprised.

Did not mean to offend you. Just thought that on paper community should have won the game by a few more points. Underdogs win some and if Huntland beats community that's what it would be.

Hats off to Huntland, how did they keep it so close. Was it a bad shooting night for community or did Golden put up big numbers. I just thought Huntland would be overpowered inside.

How did Forrest control MTCS's shooters? Or did Forrest just pound the middle and then play inside out.

No coach, gave up a 17 to 2 start to battle back within six but no adjustments at half and the young team lost their composure. Community is the better team but not 30 points better. They will perform better with a head coach.

Not sure about the coach and I pick Forrest as well. Doesn't eagleville play too.

Be glad you were not at Cannon county's Thanksgiving classic. They were some of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. Did anyone else notice this and I wasn't even pulling for a specific team.
