  1. They call the same game every week. You just don't realize how bad it is because of the competition. It doesn't matter when you play bad competition how efficient your play calling is or how good your clock management is. I'm sure any of the teams in Rutherford County would love to host the Bears.
  2. No whining here Pride. Just stating facts: 1. MJ payed more than one team to come play (McGavock, Kenwood). 2. Your coach was whining to the TSSAA after the brackets were announced last year. 3. Those wins are paying off so... Congrats on a great regular season.
  3. Which quadrant will the Bears be put in for the playoffs? I hope all those store bought wins at home pays off for them in the playoffs. Start the Whining now instead of after the selection show Coach.
  4. Mt. Juliet is the Boise State of high school football. They have a solid team but they play cupcakes 7 (maybe 8) out of the 10 games. Of course they win 8 or 9 games a year. I understand it's not their fault that the bottom half of their region is pitiful but, come on, you don't have to buy home games to pad your win/loss record. If "Lil Perry" wants his defense to earn respect and receive "claps" during the game, stop paying people to come to your place and schedule some tougher opponents. You have to beat the best to be the best...
  5. It's not hard for the defense to improve when the Bears pay bad teams to come and play on their "Hill". They have opportunities every year to schedule the best teams across the mid state and yet they pay Metro teams and Clarsville teams to come in so they can pad their stats. I'm sure any Rutherford Co. team would love to schedule the Bears.
  6. That's great coach speak. But it doesn't matter what a kid does in practice. It comes down to who can produce when the lights come on.
  7. Hoases, it doesn't matter how much coaching they do without sound principles and discipline Coach T and the Bears will continue to give up big points to quality opponents. I guess next year your guys can schedule a few more metro teams. I am glad to hear to hear that they are finally playing the best qb and not punishing him for playing other sports.
  8. It doesnt' matter how many times he gets the ball. Until the Bears defense develop discipline, they will never be able to compete with the best schools in Middle Tennessee. You can't give up 30 plus and win...
  9. Dang, everybody at the U of MJ dranking that Perry kool-aid. Are you all going to rename the stadium after he takes you to the playoffs again? I would think the standards at the U would be higher than just making the playoffs.
  10. Franklin too physical for the Cougars. Franklin by two touchdowns. Go Rebels!
  11. Interested to see the reply since you seem to be an insider and not just a fan. Maybe a waterboy or something like that.
