I have only been able to make a couple of games this year due to my work schedule. I won't be making the trip tonight! LOL

Will anyone be providing updates during the game?

Since we had to move Homecoming, we had this Friday and Week 10 so this week was the best option. Weather should be good and dry so it should be a fun night!! Hoping for a big crowd!

White House has their hands full Friday. Fairview will present our defense with some challenges for sure. I hope we have improved in the secondary since the Waverly game; we struggled for sure. I am glad this game is at HOME but hate it is our Homecoming. Homecoming was moved to Friday due to Sumner County being out of school for a week a few weeks back. Big region game with big implications. I say WH makes enough plays offensively to get the job done. WH 38-31.

Please know TripleO in no way represents ANY part of the WH community. I know the town is excited to be able to play at Nissan Stadium but hasn’t forgotten why we are playing there. Still praying for the Waverly community. Waverly has put up quite a few points this season. I’m sure this could be another shootout. Our defense has to play better Thursday than we did against the Panthers. I’m looking forward to the matchup.

Both teams riding high after putting up 50+ on bad teams. This is going to be a four quarter game for sure. White House MUST take care of the ball and not shoot themselves in the foot as they did against SC!! I’m looking for a great atmosphere Friday night. Let’s go BDP!!

@eers, I talked to some people that were at the game last night and they told me the game wasn’t even as close as the score! Hendersonville had their way all night. Big win for the Hendersonvile.

White House will win going away. I’m calling 28-6.

Blackburn rushed for 117 and McAfee rushed for over 100 as well.

GB had some decent looking athletes but they just aren’t a very good football team. They looked the part but struggled to do anything offensively. White House controlled the game from start to finish. They aren’t world beaters but it was a better showing than a week ago. Made some defensive stops when they needed too and ran the ball effectively to extend some drives. Feels good to get out with the win tonight.

Any score predictions for this game? It has been a quiet thread overall. I am going BDP with the road win, 21-10! I agree, both teams need this one!

With all the cancellations of games, I am hoping this one gets played. I haven't heard anything about it possibly being canceled on the WH end. Everyone healthy in RobCo?

I don’t see White House losing many to Liberty Creek. Plus, they’re building houses all around the HS now. I don’t think they’ll drop anytime soon.

It’s early but I would say this is a “must-win” game for White House. We’ve had GB’s number it seems forever so let’s keep it rolling this Friday. I know the Bobcats have some athletes so this will be a challenge. If WH can eliminate the turnovers that doomed them against SC, I say WH by 10+! Let’s go White House!!

I saw SPT won 41-0 but it was close early. How does GB compare to last season?

I don’t think expectations have been lowered at WHHS. They expect to compete for a region title and make a run through the playoffs each year. Just because the past two years haven’t gone that route doesn’t mean the expectations aren’t there from the admin on down. Like I said earlier, too early to say they’ve hired the wrong coach. Hopefully we can play better Friday and get on a roll. I don’t know much about our new region outside of the Cheatham schools not being great and Heritage, who has had our number the past few years. So….I’m not seeing a cakewalk to the playoffs unless I’m giving Stewart Co, Waverly, and Fairview more credit than they deserve. Could come down to week 10 against Heritage for a playoff spot?

Coach Hamilton was handed a tough situation IMO. He had to follow “the guy” in Porter who had basically, with the help of good assistants, built the program. Now, Porter’s last few years weren’t his best but his teams played hard and were disciplined. To say BDP hired the wrong coach after 22 games is a little bit of a stretch. He’s done a lot of good inside the locker room, weight room, and is an asset to the school. Has he had to endure some rough times too, well yes. Making staff changes hasn’t been easy for either side and some have gotten upset be he’s continuing to pour his heart into these kids and program. The few times our paths have crossed, you can tell he cares and wants what is best. I don’t know when the wins will come on a more consistent basis but I’d say they’re in the right direction. As far as the schedule goes, I don’t know how that all works. I guess if Beech played us, people would say their schedule is soft! Lol. Anyways, looking forward to Friday night at Greenbrier.

Too many turnovers for WH tonight. They threw a TD pass the first play from scrimmage and it was called back due to an illegal shift. It appeared from there they never recovered offensively. SC appeared to want it more and made plays when they had too. I don’t know if it’ll be a long year or not because we were missing some players tonight and a few missed throughout the week but not the start we were looking for. Congrats to the Bison, been a long time coming.

Very impressed with the Blue Devils tonight. Another tough test Tuesday against Davidson Academy but hopefully they can build on tonight. Starters played the first half for both sides and WH led 21-0 at the half.

BDP looked like a different team tonight than they team that went to a Creek Wood last year. Starters for both played the first half and WH was up 21-0 at the half. Great performance on both sides of the ball.

White House heads to Creekwood! Should be a good test for BDP!

WH returns some talented skill guys in QB Blackburn, WR/DBs Harper and McAfee, and RB Black. Their OL/DL will be the biggest question. Hollinsworth, a JR, played a lot last year but not much experience besides him. Spencer Noah is returning from a leg injury that occurred early last season. After that, they’ll be real young. Blackburn is a stud but can only do so much. He’s better at RB but WH hasn’t had a stable QB since the 2018 season so he’s gotta play there. Good luck to everyone this week leading up to scrimmages on Friday. BDP travels to Smith.
