#2 is known for throwing his little fits. Someone needs to get a grip on him.. It is evident that his parents nor the coaches can't do anything with him. Someone needs to get involved that can get a grip on these boys and the coaches. Maybe the principal needs to step in. Coen got knocked on his butt all nite long.. When it comes head to head with a good team Gville cant hang and try to get down and dirty. It has always happened just like what has already been said, it is getting old, VERY old...

Just goes to show the true colors of Gville.. They like their easy schedule, where they have no problem beating a teams such as RBS, Picket Cty, ect... But when the going gets tough and they come across a tough team they can't handle the pressure so the cheap shot when they can.. They did the same thing against SC. Talked their trash, cussed the players and late hit when they could. Like I have read on here NO DICIPLINE.. I hope it is reported to the TSSAA president because someone needs to get involved and get control since the coach can't seem to. He is just as bad as the boys. Congratulations to SP on playing in such a hostilte environment and playing like young men should play.. My hats off to you..

Well here goes G-ville, with a weak Schedule in the season, and a weak team in the playoffs , must be great to play in a youth football league , I always have pulled for the Big Blue till this week, when all the G-ville people turned on the owls, Hope they don't win another game , after last week comments, all it is, Is Jealously on their part, was always G-ville supporter till they played the owls, Never again, i have Family in G-ville and still will not support Them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[siz e="3][/size] Hey, lookinggood , you got to look at Scurlock's record for the past 2 years, 17-2. lost all of his playmakers on the outside from last year , breaking in new ones this year , they are a work in process , still droppong ball left and right, Friday night he was 7-11-3td's 2 dropped td's also in the game, he does not get to throw that much this year , more of a running attack going on, like what was said earlier, 3 headed monster in the backfield . we don't need to pass that much, just to keep people honest. This kid plays to win , he not about stats or any of that, he could care less if they threw a pass this year at all, he all about winning.

FYI.. I dont have a kid that plays.. But I agree with you.. Time to move on and focus on next week..

I agree, the Tigeers played a good hard fought game. The Owls didnt show up, but really who could have there mind on playing football when you are worried about the other team trying to hurt you and put you out for the rest of the season. Some should ask the Tiger team what they threatened to do and what they had wrote on there windows pre game. I know it is a rival game, but come on. It is getting outta hand but no one tries to stop it.. Intimidated, I guess the Owls were.. But fact is Maynord nor any of his coaching staff would never get on Sports Nuts and say "WE DROVE IT DOWN THEIR THROAT" Coach Maynord has more class than that. I listen to it every Thursday and Marshall makes himself and the team look silly by saying that kind of stuff.

Maynord and his staff has decipline. He would NEVER allow his boys to do the things the MOUSE Marshal allowed to happen before game, during game or after game. I am a 110% Staff fan. Sorry if you disagree.. But if you are a coach dont get on Sports Nuts and say "WE WHOOPED THEM ALL OVER THE FIELD.." That is NOT CLASSY.. That is ignorance and BAD sportmanship on GS part...

I really can't wait for Thursday nite Sports Nuts to hear Mousy Marshal to say Quote.. : We beat the owls all over the field except on the score board" My question is when it is all said and done.. Where the heck you supposed to beat them... Too many times have I heard that come from him.. Man up and say you took a loss.. Yes the boys played good and I dont take that away from them... I guess that is where the team gets their attitudes and sportmanship.. They will follow what they are taught....

Owl Dad, It is rumored that Gage Scurlock Has been notified by several different colleges and has been invited by several different camps that are by invitation only camps. What do you think is not settled???? Scurlock Was the MVP of the District and also the Upper Cumberland player of the year. You say your son doesnt play QB but then you say that he only took a few snaps the past season. If you have concerns about the QB position you should go to practices more often and maybe you should actually WATCH the practice.
