Not trying to argue but nobody in the valley can run on SC defense. Jasper is the one who would have the most success but there passing game is what would beat SC. Bledsoe has a very capable QB but he doesnt have the weapons that he had last year. This will be a close game as always but like last year I'm taking SC pulling away late 35-14. SC had a 43-23 lead last year and BC scored late for the 43-30 final.

No more of he was coming before the new coach got here. Seems you would be more mad about the other Bledsoe boys who have crossed the border over the last few years. How many are in purple now ? Well there's the thing, only return 2 starters I believe and most of the team is freshman. The way Sequatchie is using him is not his norm. The last 3 years he was strictly a pocket passer and now has added a little mobility.

Mainord was GC's starting QB the last 3 years and left for SC, his back up is the new starter for SP now. Coach Bryant had a lot of arm talent on the mountain. Cant blame them for transferring, neither would have done anything in GC's new split back veer.

I hate to agree THats spot on, all roads lead to a quarterfinal game against Notre Dame and then Alcoa. No one in 3A is going to beat Alcoa outside of CPA.

The only teams in the valley who get coverage from the Chatt media is Marion and Pitt (Hargis being a Pirate). Ward Gossett was at the Whitwell game but the only other time he is there is if Signal was playing. What hurts the SC/BC rivalry is that the Baylor/McCallie is usually the same weekend. Sequatchie had the huge pink out last year with the parachutes before the game and nothing was ever written. Only thing mentioned was a small piece a ND fan send in.

I dont see how York gave Dekalb so much trouble, York only ran about 6 plays all night. Sequ played there worst game of the year on defense with missed tackles because of the field, and only gave up 7 points with the varsity. If not for penalties Sequ would have had the mercy rule at half. With whether they could go undefeated or not depends on if Upperman and Dekalb can fix what ever is going on. 3 weeks until Dekalb comes to Dunlap and Week 10 for Upperman. Bye week before Bledsoe helps, but Bledsoe will play there game of the year against Sequ. throw out the records and stats, its just a 4 quarter brawl. Last year was the first in 10 years the game wasnt decided on the last possesion.
