Alcoa is smokin' Billy Blunt. With 4:20 left till halftime its 31-7. I like the playbook that WB Coach Carp opened up for this game.

No i do not have any of those films. Only have Playoff films and one Alcoa vs Maryville from '78 or '79 can't remember the year. This is the only one I have transferred over to DVD so far.

They may have worn Maroon helmets in earlier years but from 1977 till now they've worn the silver helmets. Kind of like today you'll hear people say that Alcoa's colors are Maroon & Silver. Back then our School colors was Maroon & Gray.

What happened to Billy Blunt opening up that playbook?

Yep,Big Up #70 DT,Mitch Love #73 OT and Scott Carroll #33 FB got to see a lot of action as sophomores.I graduated with them all and they were great friends friends and players.Joe Cozart was a great punter.I thought UT would try him there but never did.UT always had good punters though.Sweetwater had a few good teams back in the day and was probably the second best team in single A back then but had to play Alcoa to advance to State.

Kenny Brewer was pretty good on the third board at springbrook pool.He was tall and skinny with long hair.I think he played ball on the Walland State Championship team,but as usual,I could be wrong.

I have several game film that I am having converted over.One of the films in the 1978 Alcoa vs Maryville game.Even though Maryville won that game 21 to 14 it was still a great game.Alcoa led 14-0 but with only 26 players on the team and only 15-19 players actually seeing playing time,Maryville just flat out wore Alcoa down.We are selling copies to players and fans.When I recoup my money back for the cost of the conversion we plan on donating any future money to Alcoa Football Boosters so we can put it into the recruiting slush fund. (lol) Seriously though,the next film will be the '78 Alcoa vs Maryville. A good friend who played center for Alcoa in this game knows a lot of the Maryville players from that era and we thought we'd be nice and let them in on the action as well by doing the same thing and sharing on half the proceeds to donate to the Maryville boosters club also.I'll let you know when it happens and give you a way to contact me in case you want to spread the word to your cohorts. (lol)

Please indulge us on how ALCOA bends the TSSAA rules on open zone schools? Give the rule and then give actual facts that can be used to prove that the rule is being bent..P.S ..Your imagination isn't proof.

Who are you to tell anyone else where they can send their kids to school? You have the right to do with your family whatever you want.You don't have the right to tell me or anyone else what you think is right for mine.That includes for football,education,socially,and any other reasons I might come up with.ALCOA has always been open zone and so have the majority of other schools.I have a suggestion for you.If you don;t like something them simply don't do it.You whiny punks are always complaining instead of getting your team out on the field and getting better.The team you represent deserves better than the likes of you.

I watched this game of Milan vs Liberty from the first matchup during the regular season. Liberty didn't look special to me.

It'll happen every single time if Upperman ever gets the privilege to play the mighty tornadoes again.Upperman couldn't win a state championship in single A.

We heard what cpa was going to do last year. They had a Mr.Football winner that was going to misery and a WR that was headed there too. They didn't impress me with anything. Until you can line up and stop what is cramming down your throat,you're bound to choke.I see Alcoa imposing their once again.
