Thanks BC ive been out of it this year work has took the pleasure of the reg season out of it for me - but ive been watchin all year you all should win out no prob i dont think you all's d is as strong as last year and man that was a team to watch i was blown away by the two brothers at the end positions they were awesome and Alcoa's Defense one for the ages . The Devils i have got to see three times but they look so wide open it will really be hard to guard them all - knox chat may get them but dont count my Devils out the defense is tough and ready to play - it will be a fun run! You all be safe and play hard and looks like the mighty tornado's will be playin the Devils next year by all account's !

How do you suggest we get the TSSAA to restructure the league , since 09 we have played jeff co - tenn high sully south science hill mo west alcoa harlan ky signal mt -as out of league opponents for the most part we have had a pretty good record against those oppnt's we split with a few but i think a pretty good bunch of schools to have played not counting red bank in 09- maplewood at there place in 2010 also anderson co they have been a top program for several years but have seemed to take a downwards turn latley ..........GO BIG GREENE !

i sit and read all the bad put downs towards Greeneville football we have been playing for 100 years and up until 6 or 7 years ago the devils started to rise to the top and all of a sudden we are recruiting , got some millionaire buying stuff for us and lord knows what else you all can think up - the bottom line is back in 07 08 the coaching staff then introduced a new style and training and weightlifting etc. it took several years for the kids to buy in but they are committed to winning - coming to practice everyday- workouts -weightlifting - and just a general love for the game the 09-2010-2011 season saw what the hard work brought while every school has some up and down years greeneville has been able to maintain a winning edge - up among the likes of Alcoa - maryville - fulton those are very good programs we have had to deal with the hand the tssaa has dealt on the re-structure of the region i myself thought playing some of the kingsport schools would be a great advantage to GHS but i have heard of the re-zoning of the school system up that way has made it hard on several Sullivan looks like they took the hardest hit they and the devils where always a top 5 game of the week how about haslam donating 15 million dollars to the knox county school and surrounding area schools for new field TURF! that is him and his family giving back for the love of the game - as everyone know it takes money to travel and thats why the tssaa trys to keep the schools in the region close to cut down on travel - Greenevill loved playing those big name schools Alcoa mo west and Giles co of coarse some of those where in the playoffs but it should be a fun season the rest of the way and next year maybe all the ones that put down greeneville down will come to Burley Stadium and enjoy a game i still think the best place to watch since you are right on the field not a round track that seperates you and the players .. one last thing for those that think that greeneville should play the elite maybe you could call those schools and convince them to play us seems like we try at the end of the season and for the most part their scheduls are already full - guess thats our fault too..........GO BIG GREENE!

Just got home from the game had to leave early for work tomorrow - But that # 12 kid is the real deal east had some speed on the corners and was giving the Devils some trouble then looked like they brought the saftey's and corners up and put more pressure on the edge and shut east down some they still had a few good runs and the #12 kid had some pretty good runs himself they will give the rest of there schedule trouble ! Congrats to the Devils the Offense looks much improved over last year ballard has several weapons to throw too and i mean several .................

if it comes down to a win loss record say devils win out - fulton slips at maryville and fulton still has catholic and knox west and central and - knox cath still plays cpa and knox central so in a win loss situation devils get 1st and 2nd rd possible 3rd in a zero loss season long road ahead . just my 2 pennies .

looks like west got hammered tonight they will come in with a chip on there shoulder but the Devils will knock it off 38-14

For my self im heading to AC fri night i have not been able to see the first snap of the devils this year just going on the coaches talk and they are impressed for what they have seen - but a road game will be tough i think greeneville will pull it out - 31-7

Prayers coming from me and the Greene Devil community , so sad I was at a loss for words for this young man I keep up with Fulton and the other Knoxville teams and when you here a name during a game many times you know this kid is special and he was , and he should be remembered for the courage he showed , God Bless His Family , His Friends , Fulton High School And Coach Black and His Staff , You all are in my Heart This Christmas , God Bless us All !
