21-7 LA half time. YI can't tackle #18 cause they don't wrap up.

Their non district wins...Clay Co, Jackson Co, Monterey, and Gordonsville. All 1a schools. While other teams play the same class teams or higher and have maybe one game in a lower class, they play all non district games 2 classes lower.

Any other district games moved to Thursday night other than LA @ YI?

Just saying that you schedule teams that give you competition. Last years WC team was pretty darn good, doubt you would have beaten them by 50+, but playing them would have been better than playing Clay Co, who's barely able to dress 30 players. On to this years team, playing those 1a schools does little to help you prepare for the playoffs. Gets you the win and helps in seeding, but who wants to host a game and then not be able to compete and take a loss. That's just my opinion. Good luck to the U the rest of the way!

Last years team was very talented, but this years team is no where near that caliber. For the record, beating those 1a schools last year by 50+ didn't benefit you any....the QB stats maybe!! Playing other 3a or higher classes teams "may" have prevented the blow out by Alcoa.

LA is the odds on favorite but YI has been improving each week. Can YI pull off an upset playing at home? BTW the game has been moved to Thursday night.

Upperman in as a wild card and a 4 seed thanks to playing several 1a schools. That's gonna come back to haunt them in the playoffs.

What happened to get #80 ejected? Will it effect him playing next week?

Can a team request to move up more than one class?

Amazing how a little coaching with encouragement changes things up. It's nice to be told you done something right every once in a while. This team seems to be coming together as a team more and more each week. We've went from one player running the ball up the gut to several kids getting the ball all over the field, and they don't care about stats. They are working together to get the win. Folks on the mountain are pretty excited about football again. Last night Coach Wright gained a LOT of community support by allowing the team to have its first Pink Out. Had the weather been a little better? The stands would have been packed. That kind of support and respect has been lacking for some time.
