I have to admit -- Smith (#44) from Temple is a good football player. He put a hurtin' on us when we played Temple.

Gut Wrench Gary also knows that there has been other teams (like us at SP) that have tradition when it comes to the game of football, but look where it got us this year. I'm sure many of us knows that tradition can work for you or against you. Against you because people want to beat you and become unusually MOTIVATED, AGGRESSIVE, and INTENSE. For you because you know what it is to have a winning program, and have seen people win. Plus, you know what it cost and how it feels. Tradition teaches you that you can win, that you should win and it teaches you to expect to win if you pay the price. But it also makes losing a painful experience. TC has a whole lot of tradition, but I don't think it will be enough to stop the passion and drive of this years team from Temple. This team seems to have something very special. From what I've seen of this program it appears to have gone through lots of adverse situations. It's almost like they can't take no for an answer. And they also have a win at any cost kind of attitude about them. This certainly could be the year of the "giant killers". Those are some great players there. They really took it to us when we played them.

What is it that TC has that makes them so great? What kind of an offense do they run? Do they pass the ball alot or run it? What kind of a defense do they have? What kind of size do they have and are they quick? What makes some of you think that TC will beat Temple? These are just some of the questions I have to be answered before I make any predictions for this game. Thanks ahead of time for any info. you may give.

man we're going to have a pretty good team this year. i think people will be surprised just how good we are. now that football is over for us we can focus on the rock.

yeah i would agree. temple doesn't have a very good defense. they're kinda weak in that area. tc's offense ought to run all over them. satterfield is definitely the difference in the coaching area. temple will be fortunate to keep it close.
