  1. Have to disagree on that. Bradley County is big enough population wise. Compare to Rutherford County at 160,000 +/- population and us at about 100,000.... The question you point to is there enough talent to support 3 athletic programs at that level. Not sure where the Turf is. They didn't have the money to put it down after they got it and stored it under the home stands. only one roll was still there this fall but it's not on the field.
  2. Oh OK... I thought that was at Alcoa. I knew that was the last regular season loss, before Oakland this year.
  3. Ooltewah has not shown much down the stretch and while I thought Cleveland would win that was not what I expected. Heritage played us well, and has not had a bad season. Ooltewah is going to playing for their playoff lives and I think you have to give the advantage to Heritage.
  4. Da Bears will have to play the best game of their careers to win this game but unlike most years in the past, there may be a real chance to win. This .is for all the marbles.. the Region Championshipon is on the line. Been a long time since the Bears have gone into a single game with that on the line. Maryville has not lost a home game since 2001, I think is right. Bradley's offense is not the same as last year, although Maryville didn't see Cole Copland, but rather faced our current QB in his first start... this year he has 8 starts under his belt and a group of receivers and running backs that are used to him and he is used to them. He has been very efficient and has like a 74% completion percentage on his passing. Defense may be the best we have had in a while with 3 years under their belt in the 3-4 alignment. and are experienced and aggressive. While not totally healthy the injury list is much smaller this year as well so Bradley in the this contest as healthy as they have ever been at this stage of the season. Gonna be a great game
  5. Funny how everyone in Region 2 6a are cupcakes but yet Ooltewah and is facing elimination from the playoff if they lose to Heritage next week, #therealcupcake
  6. Good win for the Bears.. got a good lead and played a lot of younger players. Got some good looks at kids that will be playing next year.ayers including both backup QB's
  7. Everyone been over harassing Passy....
  8. Oh I expected the thread to go off in untold directions
  9. And the Owls have had theirs trimmed way back this year. Not flying nearly as high....
  10. ACcckkkkkkk PFFFTTT blehhhhhhhhh, YUCKKKKKKKKKKk Pffttttt. Me a raider fan? Even the Raider fans on here know that is fighting words for me And I stand by what I said..... My opinion, and I have watched a lot of the Owls this year on Saturday Replays on WTNB. I have seen CHS in person three times. Calling it as I see it. If Quinn (the other backs are good but not that quality) don't play, and CHS can control Manning, they have a great shot at winning.
  11. All they need is a seam and crack the linebackers and they are gone... Maryville found that out a couple of times. Your turn to find that out. The teams that beat Cleveland play solid defense and don't let them loose. And the Cleveland line is much improved this year, although it still has a ways to go, to get to where I think they need to be. "Pootewah" will be challenged on defense. The question will be Quinn. If he plays Cleveland will be really challenged as well. If not, and they can take away Manning Cleveland stands a great chance at winning.
  12. Oh I know and my feathers were not ruffled.. Just teasing back.. Gotta get this week over with before we get into the final game for the Region....
  13. Well, I can understand the Raiders being happy but we still have not come close to beating you or going that far in the playoffs. lol
  14. Geeeeee.... We get a reall good team once in a blue moon and you guys are so happy to see it end. We are not tho
  15. Probably most likely stops will be our fault in this one.
  16. Last regular season game at home and William Blount comes to town for Senior Night... going to say good bye to a fine group of players
  17. Well Cleveland has done a good job this year. Jones and Elder are terrific talents and Cawood has done a nice job at QB. BTW Cawood is the Grandson of a former Bradley RB, Coach and AD. and son of a former QB. Bet that makes for some interested discussions lolol. I like Cleveland in this game, so Go Raiders
  18. He has committed to UTC where Cole Copeland got his first start last week against Furman. Threw a pass to James Stovall, another former Bradley Grad for a TD. We are thinking it may be the first QB to WR TD pass in the college ranks for two Bradley grads. Excited about this game with you guys. While I won't be like Passy, I do think we have a team that will compete well.
  19. No one has been able to without doubling him and then there are 4 others taking up the slack. Maybe the deepest receiving corps we have ever had.
  20. Someone asked who we were playing, and I said Heritage, They said when did we start playing Georgia schools?
  21. Get the win Bears.... Region games from here on out.
