You are correct wanabee, Thacker has grown a few inches since last year and is about 6'4" 200 lbs. He is a complete player now with outside range and a strong inside game. Could be a strong contender for POTY.

Macon's potent offense should march down the field at will vs. the Bobcat defense. This being said the Tigers should win this game with ease unless the 'cats can start hot and solidify the running game quickly. Nontheless the Tigers get the win and leave the bobcats still searching for that district win which they may never get.

As the season draws closer and closer with each day, what do you guys think about this cross town rivalry?

My favorite was last year's game against Greenbrier. It was a barn burner of a game with Springfield running away with it in the first quarter haha. 27-0! what a game!

Hopkins is definitely throwing harder than 80 to 84 you goon. If you have never seen him throw then quit guessing. I was at the GP-GB game and Hopkins topped out at 88 and was throwing his fastball consistently from 86-87. Newman was throwing well too and i think he topped out at 86 while consistently hitting 83-84. And as for Ledbetter, he is still playing, but he won't be pitching as much as he did last year due to what i understand to be elbow problems. but like soul survivor said earlier, this district is anybody's to win

Any more excuses from the White House fans? I do enjoy listening to these hilarious excuses, they not only crack me up, but also make me shake my head a little bit. So, it now looks like WH will get GB or GP in the first round of district depending on GP and GB's two head to head games this friday @ GP and sat @ GB.

Like I said- Live and die by the three. White House hit ONE three pointer tonight. That is why they barely won. WH is supposed to win district? They can barely beat a very young GP team @ home!! Even if White House shoots well in region (if they make it to region) teams like Maplewood, East Lit, and CPA will absolutely DESTROY them.

Who wouldn't want to play for maddux and CPA when they are giving "extras" to the kid's families. Come on now CPA4ever, quit acting like nothing shady is going on. This has been going on way toooooooo long

MID season predictions: 1. Sycamore- Obvious #1 2. Macon Co- Could give Sycamore a run for their money 3. White House- live and die by the 3's 4. Westmoreland- suprising alot of people... playing good ball 5. Greenbrier- Team not playing up to their potential 6. Goodpasture- Young team w/ some key injuries

Actually it was true...According to Coacht rankings Greenbrier was number one in defense giving up 47 pts a game... that is until the stats were updated a few days ago. But GB isn't that good... They have played a very weak schedule. At one point played i think 7 single A's in a row
