  1. Good grief, I decided to read some posts on Alcoa and Sweetwater and it seems the thread was hijacked. Let's wait til Sat.to discuss next week... This one will be ugly by half with all the young pups getting plenty of playing time. To settle the shut-out / pizza debate, I say a whole pizza for an entire game played and a slice per quarter. So, by my account that gets us to at least a pizza and a half
  2. APB it was not the same kid. Ragland was the punter last year and he graduated.
  3. Fine. You guys are correct. CAK who had its jv offense on the field before and after the punt issue, called a fake punt to run up the score with its jv team. Makes perfect sense. Let's get to the real issue here, if it had been public school xyz would you have started this thread?
  4. What? You call a high school kid classless and then say you would hurt him (I guess you are not classless?) My original post was intended to defend a high school football player from an internet tough guy like yourself. The CAK coaching staff did not call a fake punt. I was close enough to the sidelines to hear an angry CRB after the play. The punter decided to run on his own. My point was to show if the player being called out was truly classless he would have scored and you and I both know that. For what ever reason he chose to run, get the first and get the first down.
  5. Hey let's make a mountain out of a mole hill... he could have freaking scored if he wanted, he ran out of bounds to ice the game.
  6. I think this one could be interesting...especially because of the hospitality CAK was shown last time!
  7. Still makes them top wildcard seed...no change
  8. I keep reading about the pass int. calls being bogus, one of them was a facemask, please keep that in mind.
  9. No harm no foul friendly banter makes the week go by faster, espically when playing aLcoa
  10. You do realize the dude is a troll right?
  11. In all seriousness you should not make these late at night besides the oldies are always best.
  12. thread watching, because big games bring out the morons (and all of you long time listeners know exactly who I am talking about ) As for the game, I am hoping fbd gets me a band burger
  13. You could end up with 2 state champions in the same district, with the possiblitiy that one of those state champs finishes 3rd or 4th in the district.
  14. FB it will not help Alcoa, you are swapping Stone for Grace and will hurt CAK because Stone will not play CAK.
  15. If this is close or true, then CAK would be 4A. Interesting if so.
  16. Alcoa will roll Kingston still has some growing to do and from what I have seen your new coach has the program going in the right direction...
  17. From what I have watched they are a work in progress. It all depeneds on which QB plays. They have a really good qb, but he has had a nagging injury that has kept him out of some games (summer league baseball injury or something). If the starting qb cannot play the next guy in is a wr and the production drops off.
  18. From what I could tell, High threw a wr screen and laid a block on a Defensive Lineman from Loudon. The Loudon player (after the whistle) then gets up, runs High down and suplexs him WWF style, which caused a minor scuffle. After that both teams played "chippy"
  19. This is the forum for the grammar police correct? Sorry, was just trying to follow. (For the record) I try not to get in gramma wars, my fingers hit buttons faster than my brain works, I think that has something to do with getting older.
  20. Stone is a scrappy team, but Kingston will win this one. Kingston 21 Stone 13 (blocked PAT)
  21. FYP...lol I will go on the record to say Alcoa rolls
  22. I know CAK did a couple of things of the summer...new practice field, new fence around track, new (improved) drainage for the game field, resodded most of the game field, and closed in the bottom of the stadium.
  23. Yes, I have been told that they invited him to camp to see him up close...
