Loves, The problem is everyone does it. But the public schools kicked the private schools out because of financial aid. So, who cares? What I am saying is. Quit complaining about it. Stand up and fight for what is right. The integrity of the school. This is more about Bruce Lussier and his inability to win games and keep his feeder schools from going to other schools. He has done a very poor job.

23, your right the problem is not only the head coach. But, the administration as well. Nothing is going to improve till the alumni start making demands and pulls together. Only a RYan guy can unite this group. Danny Francescon should be the next Head Coach

The administration will not fire him. If that is what your asking. Word on the street is he is actively applying for jobs though

ALl Private schools recruit. DO not let them tell you differently. All private schools give some form of financial aid. Playing in DII levels the playing field. This is more about Ryan and it's inability to keep the kids in there feeder program and a coach and administration that just does not give a darn. The school needs a new direction and it is unable to see past there growing nose to get it

MBA has 30 players from the Porocial leagues. Paying full tuition. Ensworth has 8 players same story BA has 5 same story CPA has 7 same thing. When will the people at Father Ryan wake up and understand it is not about the best athletes it is about keeping what you develope in your feeder system. It is not about giving free rides. Twing, Do not put the cart before the horse. They pay a head coach but not the assistants. Head Coach is only as good as the people around them. The administration and Board Has to GO

If Father Ryan was smart and I am not saying they are. They would kick the liberals out of the Administration and bring back good ole Catholic Values and what the Porocial School system was meant to be. Educating all Catholics. In Hoc, Then I guess the Hireing of Tom Fivash who was not a Father Ryan Guy meant nothing. Learn your history 1st. Father Ryan is a Storied institution. That has been ruined by a weak Administration and a poor Board of Directors. Add to it people who give money to the school do not know what he heck they are doing and call themselves athletic experts. If you ask me. There are 2 maybe 3 people that can straighten the mess created by 20 years of poor management. President: Boots Donnelly. He is old school. and will do what is best for the school and Catholic education. Principle: Frank Simpson, A great leader of Men. A Strong Catholic in Faith and a believer that all should be given the chance to be educated reguardless of financial status in the area. Athletic Director, Kurt Page, There is no one better than him at self promoting. He did a fine job at BGA, Father Ryan (when he had the chance) and FRA. Head Football Coach: Danny Francescon, He can recruit, coach aLL 3 levels of the football field( Offense, Defense and special Teams)

There is more Talent walking the Halls at Ryan than there is on the football field. I wonder why? Parents tell me because of the Coach. That speaks VOLUMES

Look, Ryan has the money and does not give only to Athlete's. It is a 5 part situation. 1- if you recruit your feeder schools and do not allow them to think of other schools you win. Not every Student MBA gets that comes from a Ryan Feeder school is on scholarship. They are However on some kind of financial aid. 2- It is the Coach's responsibility to goto the schools and speak to the kids or goto the Churches and encourage the kids to attend the school. This has NEVER been done to my knowledge, Only if the kids are on his campus has he done anything. 3- The administration is at Fault. For some 17 years ago they devalued Athletics and cut the budget for athletics at Ryan. 4- The Alumni is at fault, for allowing this insult to keep going on. 5- it is the Boards fault and responsibility to make the changes to bring a once storied programs back to the promised land. If you ask me. Someone mend fences with James "Boots" Donnelly. Get his input and make the tough needed changes to the Administration, Coaches and Alumni relations at the school. Blow up what has been a disgrace for the past 15 years.

Baylor, You can stage it anyway you want. But 3 things are very obvious. 1-MBA is winning with Ryan's Feeder system players. The Coach has to have the ability and knowledge to recruit said players away from other schools. They are leaving the system because the coach and direction the school is in. (Head Coach) 2- Ryan has more talent walking the Halls than they do playing the game. It is amazing that as Freshmen they have a winning record and as Juniors and seniors they lose. (Coaching) 3- you have to have the resources. Ryan's Alumni would support it if they believed in the Direction the program is going. They will not put there money behind a LOSER of a program. (Coaching and Administration) You can spell it anyway you want. You can put on the Purple Glasses and see it through there perspective. But, to see things clearly. Step away and listen to the players, their parents and above all else THE ALUMNI. If your not willing to listen to the masses of ALUMNI. Then it is a MUTE point.

As long as the current administration is at Ryan. The Coach is safe. They do not care what the alumni nor it's parents think

Look, it is plain and simple. Coach Lussier is a great person. He is dedicated to trying his best. I personally do not see him as a good fit at Ryan. Defensively: His coverages are not always sound. He gets beat deep more than most teams. When he switches his defensive coverages. The checkdown pass is always open. Offensively: He has had 3 different coordinators in his 7 years at Ryan (Himself, being the 1st one. The one that left last year, and now this cat) He always pointed the finger at someone else but never at his own selfish sceme's. That came from his own parent's calling him out. I keep hearing from people inside Ryan. That he does not have the talent. Well You need to recruit the talent. Ryan's best talent is in the building. But, do not want to play football for one reason or another. I wish the Irish well. I just do not see them getting past the bottom with him at the controls.

With 2 classifications the enrollment minimum should be 450. Then teams can always play up if they feel like it. Then you have 4-6 teams in the knoxville/Chattanooga area

Take it to 2 classifications and you got something

The Truth is. MBA is a well respected institution. Has been doing thing correctly with the STUDENT athlete for a very long time. In comes a young coach who thinks he is doing the kid the right way and bad your labled as a cheater. Brentwood Academy had that lable for a long time. They went to court and won. Now the TSSAA is having tp pay handsomely to BA for the trouble. So be careful when you lable a school as a cheater. It might come back and bite you in the butt one day
