Promote the Assistant Coach? Are you kidding? You could have brought in anybody else, but if their name was not Larry Ricker then Lady Rebel basketball would not be the same. Granted he has had alot of talent over the years (Hawhee, Starnes, the Davis twins, and Dunn to name a few) but even when they are low on talent they still always seemed to make it to at least sub state. No, there will never be another Larry Ricker, whether you think that is a good thing or a bad thing is up to your own rumor circle, but they will never be as good as they were under him.

It was the first time that Greeneville had won at South Greene since 1995.

First off, Greeneville does not have a big girl going to UTC. Secondly, I was at the Mt. Juliet game and they both went through the line to shake hands just like everybody else. Also, Clark is going to Belmont because she got hurt last year and the big schools backed off. I have also heard she is a very intelligent person and Belmont has her major. Clark is the most dominent player in the state that I have seen play and Lyons is second.

Greeneville's Megan Lyons set a new school single game record tonight with 46 points. It breaks the old record of 44 points which was held by Megan Lyons (set in the first game of this year). Tennessee Tech is getting a steal in Megan Lyons. Great Player, even better person.

I saw Mt. Juliet play 4 games in the Ladies' Classic this past week and if their is a better team in the state, I would hate to have to face that team. Clark was the best player in the tournament. McMahan was flashy but Clark was the better player this past week. Lyons also had a good tournament

I wish she was just a junoir. She has already signed with Tennessee Tech. Megan is without a doubt the most exciting girls basketball player I have ever seen and one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of being around.
