the fact that he lied and said what he said is what got this started, i did not see any central fans get on here and brag or rub salt into Omars wounds.. he made the statement that was not true and as central fans we was not going to sit back and let him lie like that, he tried to cheapen our victory.... no I don't think so..The first person through the line was the coach and the first and second player was walking to fast to say anything he was already on his way to the locker room at that point. What he was boiling over was getting beat on his own home floor by a team that he talked trash to allnight long.

It may be a game you have been waiting for but it is just another Big 9 game to most central fans.. why would it be anything diffrent?

No way anybody in there right mind would take Layton over Hess or Wiley!!!! Iam not saying that he dont deserve to be on that list(maybe maybe not) but no way is he top 5 over Hess or Wiley.... Not that he needs to see this but i will tell Hess just to get him fired up even more before they play tuesday... Thanks and i might even see if i can post this in the locker room.. One more thing, no way you can put Sylvester on that list yet, he is a good ball player but still i think he is a year away.. I dont think it really matters about how one team matches up with another team from the big 9, any team in this conference can be beat and that includes the hilltoppers, they are the team to beat but they are not that much better than all the other big 9 teams.... When it comes time for district tourney i would not put money on one team.

no it is not a unknown reason, Hess is a scorer and his shot was not falling last night but he has earned the right to play and that is all that there is to it..... DONT START RAGGING ON A KID THAT HAS PLAYED HIS TALE OFF FOR CENTRAL FOR 3 YEARS AND HAS HAD A LOT OF GREAT GAMES AND A BIG PART OF CENTRALS RUN TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT AND THE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP LAST YEAR... HE IS ALOUD A OFF NIGHT...

Dont know what paper you are reading because Central did not get a lot of hype, all of the talk was about the 2 Powell kids from South and the 2 or 3 big kids from D.B and the 2 kids from South are not very good at all and have never proven anything... And the D.B. kids are good players but Throp and Coty are the ones that should be talked about, they are proven what they can do... As for Hess leading Central past S. HILL, i never recall that ever being said on here, with that being said now i can tell you that S. HILL has a good team but they are not as great as you think they only lead Central by 6 points in the 4th quater and Central had a lot of turnovers that were unforced, S.Hill will lose 3 or 4 games at least in the Big 9 this year.....

If he is #5 you are talking about he is a good player but they have a point gaurd that thinks he has to do it all and plays out of control, they could be a pretty good team if they could cure that problem...

I seen sullivan central play them in a hall of fame game and in a scrimmage and i dont know who this kid is but i can tell you this, they had nobody stand out in them 2 meetings... He may stand out when playing weak teams but put him in the big 9 and it would be a diffrent story... The top 5 or 6 teams in the big 9 have 2 or 3 players that are better than anyone i saw from cocke co. Did he play when they played central?

This debate is not about Throp, it is about you saying Sylvester will be a big part of D.B season this year not when he is a senior, you said this year... You are trying to change the subject so you can get some D.B. fans to forget about the stupid statement you made!!!! And most of the people who were giving your son a hard time at games last year is because that is what they do to good players, you should know that seeing how you know everything else!!!

The king of basketball strikes again... You are insane if you think Sylvester has to be a big part of D.B. this year, they have a lot of talent ahead of him... Central played hard tonight but did not shoot the ball as good as they can... they still had a chance to win, Central took a 1 or 2 point lead with about 6 min. left and the home cooking refs struck again... The reffing was bad all night long and Central did not have a chance to win a close game on that floor, but that is basketball and cant harp on that... Central will be a pretty good team this year and will suprise a lot of teams.. Carter had a good team but i think Central was the better team but on the road the better team does not always win.. I think with Big 9 refs Central wins by 10 or 15....

you forgot to say anything about the Unaka and Bearden score!!!! Now that was a beat down.... and crockett will be a lot better than people think, if they were in district 1A they would be one of the teams to beat.... They have some good players and will compete in the Big 9.....

One of your parents yelled at some of the students from Central for cheering for the cougars and would not quit until some of centrals parents told him they were just high school kid and he needed to not worry about them and mind his own business...
