I disagree with your statements. I believe just the opposite. I think the wildcats have more natural talent than our Panthers but were not as well disciplined or coached. Wildcats were definitely faster. Both teams will improve as the season goes. Good luck to the Wildcats. Good hard fought game. Not the case. You can hurt the Panthers more with a good passer and fast receivers. Run defense is actually pretty good. Hardin Co. had no luck running the ball on them.

1- Adamsville 2 -Riverside 3- TCA 4- JCS 5-Scotts Hill 6-Middleton Riverside looked greatly improved in the last Hardin Co. Chester Co. Scrimmage. Panthers may surprise some people this year. New Coaching and mental approach I think will make a difference.

I don't think you cheated. My point is if you can pour enough money into a program you are bound to win sooner or later . I think the vast differencences in available money spent is the disadvantage to some teams. I would have liked the TSSAA to have somewhat balanced brackets.I think the teams should be seeded. I think you all followed the rules as they currently are. Just my opinions. Congrats to everyone.

FCA was handed the championship on a silver platter by the TSSAA. FCA was the 3rd or 4th best team out of the 8. Silverdale should have the championship now. TSSAA is getting really blatant as far as catering to the $ from the private schools. I think this drop of GP will be reversed. Congratulations FC finally bought one.

No. If you make it you will have to beat the other best team sooner or later, maybe twice. I will say though if you lose 1 game in the half of the bracket you are in you are pretty much done. You all may win it all. we will know soon. Good luck to all.

Summertown and Riverside based on who they have played and beat are the best two teams of the 8.

I would say the best chance of an upset will be in the FC vs Scotts Hill game. Friendship Christian can beat them with great hitting but if they have a bad hitting night or no homeruns scotts hill very well may win. S H isn't a high scoring team but they are so good defensively it will almost take homeruns to beat them.They seldom make mistakes in the outfield or infield. A lack of great, hard hitting is the way they beat Riverside in the district tourney.

Friendship is in the easier bracket for sure but it doesn't matter in the end. You gotta beat the other best team (whomever it may be in the end.) I think Scotts Hill is right on par to give a really strong challenge to them. I think FC is probably the 4th or 5th best team left in, behind Siverdale, D C , Summertown and maybe Scotts Hill. The FC vs Scotts Hill will be probably one of the most competitive games, Scotts Hill has no standout pitchers but they are hard to score on they don't make many errors. F C will have to have top notch hitting and base running to beat them. You need HR hitters to beat SH.

Recruiting hasn't helped them much in single A baseball the last few years. Bring on your recruits!

You are definitely right. The last three years Riverside has been overly dominate. Not so this year. We are still a good team with great hitting. It will be a much more competitive state tourney this year. Our pitching is more average than dominate this year. I think we are on par with probably Friendship and Silverdale and will have to play our best to win it all this year, not much room for error this time. Should be an exciting tourney with 3 or 4 closely matched teams. Good Luck to everyone.

I must say we have met several (the majority of the ones we've played.) good teams from east Tn the last few years in the boro. A good team can come from anywhere. Team spirit, a supportive community and parents and coaches that a kid respects is all it takes.I hate to see any of the boys lose in Murfreesboro. As much as us parents and fans enjoy it, it means even more to the kids. Regardless of who wins it all i'm happy to see the kids celebrate and enjoy it.

Not a surprise for us fans that watch all the games. They're gonna be hard to beat.

Scotts Hill will be # 2 in dist. 15. They have a pretty good team.

Riverside, Silverdale , Friendship Ch, and Boyd Buchanan in that order.

Riverside shouldn't be overlooked just because of the good seniors we graduated or our new coach. Our boys still have the heart and still know how to play ball. Our pitching isn't quite as deep as the last few years but our hitting is great, We have two of the top 3 batting averages in the state and a good field. It will take a great single a team to keep Riverside from winning it all again this year. Good luck to you all.
