Face it Pride, your Tigers were beat! LA out played them in every aspect of the game and should have came out on top. However the man behind the plate bailed your Tigers out! In the play where the Dekalb dugout emptied out into the dirt around homeplate, the LA pitcher COULD NOT get through the Dekalb players to cover the plate on the passed ball. The ump didn't have the guts to make the right call, which should have been: PLAYER INTERFERIENCE - RUNNER OUT!!!!! BALL GAME But if that had happened LA would have been the winner 5-4. If that were not bad enough, the winning run NEVER touched homeplate. When the LA catcher threw the baseball over the thirdbasemans head, the runner came home. But once again the Dekalb dugout came onto the field BEFORE the play was over and actually dog piled the the runner BEFORE he touched the plate. Yes he never touched the plate! The home plate ump immediately emptied his baseball pouch and said BALLGAME! Now Pride if you think your Tigers won that game, you are just lying to yourself or living in some fantacy world. Your Tigers got BAILED OUT! You can't argue these two plays. You know it happened!

Livingston Academy has Justin Savage(Senior) and Colby Reeder(Junior). Reeder should be one of the best hitting juniors in the mid-tenn. area.

And got 4th!!! Again with the "District MVP" the "District Defensive MVP" and the "Coach of the Year." Congrats to Upperman! Played a great game.

Some of you seem excited about the LA loss. After all, not a word from you as long as LA is winning. Not one congeratulatory statment! Not one Atta Boy! No "GOOD JOB" No Nothing!! But wait till they lose and here you come. Same old song, just a different verse. Basketball family Tell your youngest congratulations on the win at Springfield!!! Go HOG-EYE!!

A team like Jackson Co....... Hats off to JC. They shot the ball extremely well. Defended the paint well. Did what they had to do to try to get the win. Well coached group of boys! Give credit where credit is due. LA led 3-0 to start the game and didn't lead again until the final 2 minutes. Trailed the entire time!! So yes it was exciting when LA took the lead. Are you saying that the players shouldn't get excited and stand up and cheer to help pump up the ones that are on the floor playing?? SURELY NOT!! Maybe the fans are not supposed to get excited at a game like that either. No matter who the opponent, that was a great come from behind win. At least noone on the bench at anytime during the game GAVE UP! Go HOG-EYE!! Let's get another W Friday night. Good luck to JC on the rest of the season and in tourny play. P.S. Till #21 she played a great game against Cannon Co. at LA last Mon. night.

Thats kind of a backhanded compliment! It was two good district wins by the wildcats. A wins a win! No matter how it come to be. Hats off to CC and DC. They played two hard fought games. LA has some weaknesses and these teams have learned how to exploit them. Look forward to Friday night when the Bees come to Hog-Eye. The Wildcats will be looking for some redemption. Should be a great game. GO HOG-EYE!!

Next week will be a big week in 8AA with Cannon, Dekalb, and Upperman coming to LA. Should be good games. We will have a better idea about the district by weeks end. Go Hog-Eye!

As I said earlier, this team needs All of our support. True LA fans still "bleed blue." I didn't think PC played as well as they did at LA earlier this season. May be contributed to the LA defense. Wildcats did shoot better. Good win! Go Hog-Eye!

Corruption-----Strong words about same board that employes you and a great many members of your family! You really should take a couple of steps back and evaluate the situation. A better phrase for the ex-coaches situation is self-inflicted. Everything that happened was a result of what he did. He had the team to a point that he didn't know what to do to bring them out of it. His actions lost him the support of his team, his fans, and most everyone envolved. Heck, Almost all of his family members left early at the JC game. Was this because they supported him or didn't approve of his actions? He chose the easy way out HE QUIT! No corruption involved. This is my last post on this subject and I encourage everyone to do the same. Like it or not the page has been turned. This team needs all of our support, especially now. For what they have been through from the start of the season till now. Go Hog-Eye

Thats right , McCoin was the coach then. Time goes by too fast when you get my age. That does not change the fact you left the county sports programs once and I am not supprised that you are not not supporting the program now! And now is when they need it. This program will turn around and get back to its winning ways. When it does someone will say the same thing the Japaneese said after they bombed Pearl Harbor "I am afraid we have awaikened a sleeping giant." Go Hog-EYE

Wow! This coming from someone, who only afew years ago, either didn't tryout for or didn't make(not sure which) ex-coach Meltons team at LA and had to go to Clay Co. to play ball. We see how you have supported LA in the past. Do we think you would support them now, since you are working out of the Pickett Co. system.

Don't listen to the radio much. Just give me an ice cold Mt Dew, a bag of popcorn, and a rerun of Matlock. Can't get any better! Been wondering how long it would take for you and getoverit to voice your opinions. If he had only listened to you and the others in the weeks before the JC game, this probably wouldn't have went down this way! Bet tensions were so high at the family thanksgiving dinner the turkey got up and ran off.

I hear Smith Co. may be in need of a coach next year. It wouldn't be the first time someone from Overton Co. went to Smith to teach! Hats off to the Bees. They played a very good game. They had our number! But it's not the frist time the Bees have downed the Wildcats at Upperman. They beat the ex-coach and his squad 2 years ago! So I guess it can happen to anybody, past or present.
