  1. Nice thought pccoach... Hope you eat your words...
  2. Shelbyville at Lawrence County is rescheduled for Saturday, February 12 4pm.
  3. Que2, which player on Lawrence County? Do you know who he played with? That is a very interesting statement.
  4. What is a sad thing to me in 8AAA girls basketball is the Franklin County Lady Rebels. This team of very athletic and talented girls have not had any luck in the coaching departement. Their senior and junior girls had John Wild, and excellent coach, then I can't remember who coached them last year, and now some psycho. If Wild had stayed, and I understand moving on, I am NOT faulting him by no means, those girls would be state bound. They have impressed me EVERYTIME I see them play. My heart goes out to them this year with the badgering they take, night in and night out. Keep your heads up Lady Rebels! You are an amazing set of young women!
  5. DANG FCRebel22! I LOVE your posts! Keep up the good work!!
  6. Interesting talk going on here. I love the parity in 8AAA, it makes for a great and exciting season. As for 7AAA, post season always goes their way. But, I seem to believe it COULD be a different ending this year, but... Time will tell. It always does. Franklin County has a good team, they just don't seem to play four quarters of good ball. Lincoln County seems down this year, but I feel with their coach, it won't last long. Tullahoma is solid, inside and out. Lawrence County is very streaky. It just depends on who shows up for them. Shelbyville is Shelbyville. Coulumbia is extremely athletic. If you are ready to play ball, you can hang with them. It makes the season fun to watch people eat their words on here... I just hope it isn't me! LET'S GO 8AAA!
  7. 52-30 Lawrence County. Lady Mustangs looked tired.
  8. Young's dunk was nice. He made two points off of it. You either make 2 points, get fouled, or miss it, or a combination of them. The WOW factor is as individualized as the players are. The difference in this game is that the Eagles lost their composure. One of their players had an intentional foul that was uncalled for, as I think the defender was just extremely frustrated. Then there was a technical foul called later in the game. Knowing the player involved, it was probably well deserved; maybe not, as I hope not. I am sure the Eagles will be ready for revenge in their gym. The Wildcats need to be ready for that game and not go into it like they did the Giles County game. Both teams should have extremely good seasons. Good luck to ALL!
  9. Giles Co. was ready for the Wildcats. The Wildcats seemed to go into that game way too confidant and it bit them. Marshall Co has a very good ball team, and I do not think Giles Co can hang with them, unless they drive #1 crazy like the Wildcat's #10 did. It should be a good game. When are those games scheduled to be played? The Wildcats went into the Marshall Co game pumped up and ready to play. #24 held his own inside with Marshall Co's big guys and still put up 20+ points. If all of the Wildcat's players would have been shooting well, there would not have been a close game AT ALL.
  10. VandyChris, just how many high school basketball games have you witnessed? If you are disappointed in that officiated game, you need to get out and get in a gymnasium more often. The Eagles played well, but those Wildcats outplayed them. You say there will be no dunks in Summertown. That could be a true statement in that no player, not even a Wildcat, wants to hit either baseline wall NOR get caught up in the rafters. The statement about Mr. Dunn... Give me a break. Us Eagles better be ready when they come north.
