There is more to this GP team than the media, the fans, the school, and even the coaches think. Sadly, prior to the untimely death of their teammate this spring, there were at the least five maybe six college caliber players-Division I, I-AA, II, and III. Then, two games into the season, the suspensions came. I'm going to leave that issue to others to discuss. My point is that they paid a heavy price this year and I don't think they will go to CPA and surrender the season to them just because they are 5 and 5 and not 9 and 1. CPA is a well coached, good football team but I hesitate to award them the victory because I know these GP players will play their heart out Friday Night.

You hit the nail on the head it is not all sports it's football and we all know who is in charge of that and there is the reason. Noone gets that much talent without something going on.....

Goodpasture will be back not many seniors (8) but quality ones-they still are going to be heavy on the line.

I think you wish for great things. The moment your team believes it earned the title two weeks ago --Guess what GP deserves to be in the game they have earned it------get that.

Again, I hope this team has the same attitude. Besides you gonna win right because you beat CAK a few weeks ago that's all that matters.

I have never given up in my life. I definitely want to hear what you got to say when your team loses.

So you appreciate your advantage over the other public schools. We don't recruit and play a schedule above the needs. And you still brag-----I will definitely enjoy this victory on Friday even though you claim it's private over public but you enjoy even more priviledge than a private school does. Take it any way you want but don't dare claim your school plays on a fair field.

First of all you have to go there and not lose. Second, you have to work hard to get there not make a schedule where it happens no matter what but makes average players good football players because they compete at a higher level. Third, you have to follow the rules and not cheat yourself or the players simply because you are taking advantaged of a 60 year old rule that allows recruiting for a public school if it is in the mountain region of Tennessee poor stump jumpers.
