  1. There is more to this GP team than the media, the fans, the school, and even the coaches think. Sadly, prior to the untimely death of their teammate this spring, there were at the least five maybe six college caliber players-Division I, I-AA, II, and III. Then, two games into the season, the suspensions came. I'm going to leave that issue to others to discuss. My point is that they paid a heavy price this year and I don't think they will go to CPA and surrender the season to them just because they are 5 and 5 and not 9 and 1. CPA is a well coached, good football team but I hesitate to award them the victory because I know these GP players will play their heart out Friday Night.
  2. You hit the nail on the head it is not all sports it's football and we all know who is in charge of that and there is the reason. Noone gets that much talent without something going on.....
  3. Goodpasture will be back not many seniors (8) but quality ones-they still are going to be heavy on the line.
  4. What are you trying to imply? 51 could not only kick your dumb a-- but any body you want to put up on him. Go ahead hot shot he's 6' 270 and bet against him. Yeah a sophmore at GP but pick who you want and send him up. I know you aint man enough so forget this and just accept the fact you will lose on friday.
  5. Maybe it is but watch the film nobody runs inside or outside. As a matter of fact nobody runs.------Do something else.
  6. ...certainly try to feed it back to you if "their" team wins. By the way, the Alcoas Painted Bridge guy is the radio announcer for Alcoa. Good luck. (Hope to see you in Cookeville next year as we plan on beating Alcoa next year--they lose a LOT of their playmakers this year.)

  7. Finally, a word of advice--I have no idea how good Goodpasture is--obviously pretty good. However, I have been watching HS football for going on 30 years now--I've seen teams all over TN. This Alcoa team is EASILY the best HS football team I've ever seen; doesn't mean they can't be beaten, just means it's not likely. So be careful how much "crow" you toss out to these Alcoa guys because they'll.

  8. ...that most of us grown-ups do. They have a successful football team to "attach" themselves too, and anybody who says anything the least bit critical is the enemy. They act like they're such big fans of CAK (my son's team) now, but before the CAK games (more so before the reg. season game), they were giving us CAK fans the same sort of crap they're giving you....

  9. Good luck against Alcoa. A word of advice--don't let these Alcoa jokers on here get you riled up; they actually revel in getting people all worked up, then they act like they "got" you. No amount of logic will convince them that you're making valid points; it's like arguing with a child. The most prolific Alcoa posters on here don't live by the same moral compass...

  10. GP35 - Al21 With their big linemen.... there will be no Alcoa running game it will have to go to the air and if they are successful they might win.
  11. The number two offense in all tennessee football dont convince you there is a chance they might score.
