Girls didn’t do bad either. 7th out of 29- State Placement Led by: Ella Murphey- 3rd place Ella was a Freshman TSSAA State Champion at 190 lbs for Hardin Valley Academy. Maggie Graham-5th Place Maggie has accomplished about as much as any guy or girl in TN. She is a rising junior, with 2 State Titles, UWW Cadet Finalist, and Fargo All American. Piper Fowler-Runner up Piper is a rising star. She got a runner up finish defeating Fargo Champions and top 5 ranked girls in the country. Kudos to the girls that went after tough competition to get better. Gabriella Newton, Jenna Baines, Katelynn Hernandez, and Senna Grassman. Tennessee has some very good ladies that can wrestle, look forward to seeing them get better.

Cleveland will officially have girls wrestling program beginning next year. They officially named former Cleveland Boys Head Coach-and State Championship Coach- Eric Phillips Anyone that knows Coach Phillips understand how huge this is. Expect championships very soon!!!!

This weekend, August 14th-16th, we will be hosting a camp designated for big guys. We understand finding camps specifically for big guys is hard, so that is why we designed this camp. We will have 25 kids, 170-220 lbs in the room to assure a great camp experience and MANY partners. We have state champs from NC, GA, and TN signed up. Camp is located on a 100 acre farm, check in at 5 pm, and check out at noon. All meals provided, and we have installed bunk beds for every athlete that attends. We are currently finishing our 4th camp in June, and they all have been very productive with every wrestler coming through being surrounded with knowledgeable coaches and competitive partners. We have hosted camps for college athletes, the best HS wrestlers in TN and across the country, and our states young ladies. We will look to continue weekend camps through October, possibly 2-3 a month. If your program wishes to reserve a weekend or have us up to your facility please message me. I’ve had a lot of interest of hosting a High School only camp. With a lot of camps for high school kids being so expensive, I’m confident I can offer your team a camp at a MUCH cheaper cost. I’ll answer this: First, they were asked to come back, they chose not to. Baylor’s ONE attempt to schedule a dual came two weeks before the season kicked off. Not sure if you understand when schedules are put together, but it’s well before then. So your getting false information from the coach, or your making things up. With that being said, could Cleveland beat Baylor? Maybe not, Baylor is a very tough prep school. Their recruiting is better than its ever been and they have some tough young talent coming through.
