He fractured his tibula all the way back in the Waverly scrimmage, word is he will be back for the game against you guys.

WC coming off a big win at Riverside will be looking to get on the field with HC after last years loss to them. WC will have #70 back this week to help on the line and as far as I know everybody came away healthy last night so let's get this started!

Your Panther team will be just fine this year, played with a lot of heart and intensity. I think the heat kinda got to them in the second half and took a toll on y'all's big boys up front. Really enjoyed coming over, very classy fans! I do wish they would move those dang light poles in front of the bleachers though!

As long as I have kids and grand kids playing football they will be taught to play with aggression and go as hard as they can every play! To me nothing could be more fun than pancacking on a block or making a big tackle then helping the man up! But this is coming from a person who's senior son had to sit his first game out last night because of a personal foul ejection in the last game last year.

This was a great hard nosed football game! Riverside was a little better than I thought they would be. It looks like they got things headed in the right direction. Love to see two teams just slug it out like they did tonight, good luck to you panthers the rest of the way!

Cwood had the talent last year, but when you lose your best two or three players in the first three games it's hard to compete. Had Cwood stayed healthy I think they would have won the district, as a matter of fact I think I had them picked myself to win it. I also think Cwood will turn things around over the next couple of years but this year I think they will suffer too many growing pains.

WC won. 46-32, WC put subs in at the end and gave up two late scores.

Our middle school played at PC at 6:30 tonight and it was miserable!

WC plays a lot of sophomores and juniors, the line is usually all seniors but tomorrow will have one junior filling in if I'm correct.

I see WC coming out of the gate running right at them and not letting up until they prove they can stop it, but there will be some passes mixed in to keep the defense honest, but that's just my opinion.

Its good to have the bye week late to let players rest injuries but it seems WC always come out flat after a bye.

Riverside is always a tough game, that makes it that much more fun. Do you think the Panthers are better than last years team?

The more physical the better, that's what WC likes.
