Any truth to the rumor that Coach Allen will be the coach at the new high school?

Why in the world is the TSSAA letting them come in? They are out here just loading up on talent. They should just stay out and compete with the likes of Hamilton Heights and play a National schedule.

No one has heard this. There is no coach in place. My bet is they will just give it to Winfrees daughter, the MS coach, or the boys assistant.

What are the chances Bill Winfree returns for another year while they continue to search for a new coach?

The timeline on this “nation wide” search has been ridiculous. We are going on 6 months now and the only thing anyone is hearing is rumors. The following coaches have either been seen, contacted, or just plain lied about having interest either way Silverdale Coach BA assistant Harding Academy Coach 2 Goodpasture Assistants (Boys & Girls) Lipscomb Coach Not to mention the ones who are already in the building. This is building up to be a monumental let down, especially if they just give it to an internal person like Winfree’s daughter, Holden, or the MS coach. Should be interesting to see how this plays out with Sunmer right around the corner.

Yes it happens all the time?!? Prime example is Zion playing for Duke when the NCAA has audio recordings of his “people” asking for money. Same things happen in the HS ranks and the officials in charge do nothing. The kid will play and not have to sit. Money talks....

Hearing that there is some serious consideration on bringing back Miles. She has been there in the past and obviously has good connection with TSSAA. Wonder why she jumped ship in the first place if this is the case.

What’s exactly prompted his ejection? No way Webb doesn’t fight this. Will be interesting to see how the TSSAA handles one of their biggest stars (draws).

Just seems to be a little shady, I was at a game recently where there was an AAU coach sitting on the bench. The girls on the team seemed to focus more on what he was saying then the HC.

Is this legal? I’ve seen it more then a few times this season.

I was at the CPA v Hillsboro game but heard that DA put in a show offensively here. Good first half it looks like, wonder what was changed so drastically in the second half. DA should keep rolling. also heard the highlight of the night was one of the teachers breaking up a fight after the game.

KG, wanted to touch on a few missteps in your post. 1. Based on your opinion and what little knowledge you have. 2. Thank you. 3. I am in no way affiliated with Goodpasture. Not sure what you are doing here? And I am pretty sure that if I wanted to waste all that time looking back at your numerous posts I could find some that had you saying some negative comments about other schools.

This is not true, I know more then a few people over in the Donelson area who are concerned on multiple fronts. The talent is not anywhere near what you are claiming it is in the lower grades and they are worried that Coach Wade wont be there for long.

It is definitely DA’s championship to lose. I do not see anyone in DII-A being able to beat them if they stay healthy. FC and MTCS will have good years but I’m not sure they have the team to knock off DA. As far as DCA goes, I’m not sure Wade will be able to handle this type of season where there is a good chance a very bad MJCA team beats the wildcats handily.

They couldn’t afford Coach Wade without some outside help. Big $$ donors paying the coach should be fun to watch.

2 man race. If they can afford to pay him it will be Wade. If they can’t, it will be Dorris and then they will calm the storm by saying they couldn’t afford Wade. Has been a 2 man race all along. Guaranteed Playerscoach can’t keep quiet.
