Maybe I was told the wrong score in ss game, did see them play 3 games at bethel and they looked decent and won all 3, especially for summer time. Had 2 guards that hit several threes from the corners to help shutes. I was told shutes is healthy and she looked good when I saw her play. Westview when they combined their teams looked very good. Most of the time I think they had them split up. A full westview team with or without Jones is still very good.

They might need it, heard South Greene beat them by 35+ this week. Know it's summer time though.

Saw most of these teams play last week. 1. Westview - best team 2. Haywood - beat Dyer co 30+, decent Peabody team by 2, and south side easily. 3. South Side- struggled vs. Haywood 4. Chester co. - haven't seen. 5.Lexington - haven't seen. 5. Dyersburg - saw them play 2 games. Lost both, one to Peabody.

Not on the same level as their teams have been the last couple years but they will still win games. Depends on how tough other teams in their AAA-district are this year. In AA everyone will be chasing Westview, 2nd place will be wide open as no other dominant team is in that district, Obion will be last. I saw Gibson play a couple games and they look way down compared to years past, but a long time till season.

From the west - Dresden, Peabody, Gleason, Middleton and Greenfield as a sleeper. AA- Westview and Haywood by far. AAA - Dyer county will contend again even though down a little. All these teams have looked decent.

Saw Mcnairy play Trenton's group not to long ago and looked good, Trenton ended up winning, but was impressed with Mcnairy. If all the kids will stay with it and trust what Lott will teach them then Mcnairy will be at the top level again. Big post girl, prob 6 foot? Moves well also.. I will say the Trenton group they played should be good they won the Gibson County conference title this year and should again next year. Good things coming to the high school in Trenton also.

Don't understand Why there was no adjustments made by GC to get this stopped. Congrats to SG!! By far the best team at the tournament this week.

Am I the only one that thought this game was Horrible? Middleton - Turnover, Turnover, Turnover.... Gibson co - missed shot, missed shot, missed shot. I will say that so far in this tournament SG has looked by far to be the better team, but I say GC will win.

I'd agree. Good game though between 2 good teams.

Should of started with the pressure. Not a kid besides #21 could dribble the ball for Van buren. Why do u keep letting kids have wide open shots for threes? Bad game plan or not following the game plan. Almost cost GC. Say what u want, Van Buren is not a very good team. We'll see how it goes today with Middleton very shortly.

GC played very badly today, they better be ready for Middleton or they will get blown out of the gym!

Horrible game by GC, very lucky to win this one. They play like that vs. Middleton and Middleton will win by 30.

DC started holding the ball way too soon! Up 3 early 4th and started to pass it around. Got DC totally out of rhythm and cost them the game. Not a smart decision there. Congratulations to Oak Ridge.

We'll find out tomorrow. GC by 15+ like I said. Easy win. Van buren hasn't faced the defense, speed and shooting ability of a team from the west like GC nor have they played tough competition like GC this season.

Easy win for GC. Van buren is no where near the level of Dresden, Peabody or even Bradford. GC will win this one by 15+ but will roll into a road block in the semis called Middleton.

Middleton will beat GC by 10+ . GC better hope they don't see them till the championship.

lol. Middleton is by far the best single A team in the state. Cry all u want Dresden fans you are NO where near that level. Rest of the state will find that out also! Been saying it for a long time.

Middleton by 10+. Too much size, speed and athleticism. Middleton will win state again unless There's a huge upset or a team from middle or east tn that can beat them.

Book Your hotels like I said. GC wins this one big! Easiest game GC has had in a while, Riverside No where close to Dresden, Peabody or Bradford. Draw at state will be critical for GC.

Don't know bout that. Bradford turned them over and Peabody turned them over with press in district championship. If Dresden comes in with a great game plan they win. GC is beatable, but you have to play your best. This is around the time they choked up last year and more pressure on them this year. With high expectations, undefeated record and best chance to go to state for several years. Can they handle the pressure of it all? Time will tell.

GC will win big in this one. Bradford doesn't have enough fire power. Was hoping Peabody would get to see GC again,think they were the only team to cause a real threat to beat GC. Congrats to Peabody on a great season. 21 wins, 2nd in district tournament and first region birth in 10 years! Great job by the Coach and this group of girls. Would of liked to see them move on but good job all year. This group has a lot to be excited about as young as they are with only 1 senior and with a middle school team that Won over 20 games and the county championship. Good things are still to come.
