Hubie Smith is the girls coach at Ensworth. I have heard that he is in the running for this job.

I have been waiting for this day since the all year. Both teams are good teams. If Jaycee is HOT then UC will have a hard game. If UC can box in 1 her or full court man to man then JC is going to have trouble with that. Both teams need to take what Ensworth did against the other team and make it work for them.

Ensworth has played all three teams. Union City, Clarkrange, and Jackson Co. each team match up different and played us different. All three teams are very good and will be in Murfreesboro.

This is a Mid state poll. Union City is number two in the AP poll in the single A classification

Please stop taking statements out of context. Ensworth did not practice over the Christmas break. They were not at game speed. UC is a very good time which was missing it's best player. Match ups was a big problem with UC not being able to scout before playing too.

Yes, our daughters have played against each other since they were 10 years old. Wes and I would love to see them in the same college uniform.

Also you will have two Miss Basketball Finalist on these teams. My best friend daughter is on Briarcrest team. She is one of the top players in the 2014 class.

Yes, Ensworth is a good team. They lost to Riverdale the first game of the season by 5. Jackson County is a very good team too. The teams in this tournament will be in the state in their classifications and will have a good chance of bring home the gold ball.

Ensworth and CPA are very experience teams. Dickson Co has a very good guard. Jackson Co is a very sound group of players that can shoot the ball. This is going to be a very good weekend for basketball.

Riverdale has played in a couple of close games. Please don't forget that the team was good before the three girls transfered. The two games that I know that were close, Ty and Jones took over in the second half of the games. Riverdale will be hard to beat.
