  1. Dekalb County is a solid team. They had a lot of returning players this year.. Beat central in a close one last year in substate.. But to the sequoyah fan remark about where was central.. central has been in the playoffs year after year. Where was Sequoyah the other 3 years? Finishing last place.. Sequoyah makes it one year and they are the gods off baseball.. Just saying.. Don't gotta bash on them.. sequoyah had a very successful year. I'm not taking anything from them. Oh yeah I believe there are 6 players from 5aa going to cleveland state.. cowart is going there and I think crabtree is too. Hope the district is strong next year. And yes smokinote and his family have a lot of baseball experience and success. Good luck to all teams in the years to come!!
  2. A surprise.. Meigs beats polk again to put central at the 2 seed and host first round instead of having to travel to polk.
  3. Yeah it was only a matter of time before they did. Must be from the huge help of the first base coach! Haha!!
  4. Saturday will be a huge game determining the 2 and 3 seed. Good luck to both teams.
  5. Is Phil and Dino suppose to face off saturday? If so I will ride up.. Definitely be worth watching!
  6. Sequoyah beats Meigs 16-6 to clinch the regular season district and Central beats Polk 8-5 I believe.
  7. Chiefs look to have the district if they don't slip up against meigs!
  8. This team is blessed with talent.. Ha ha!!!!
  9. I agree! They will be tough to beat.
  10. Lets get some talk going.. Who can play?
  11. Josh Howard. He's a senior at McMinn. A great kid.
  12. You don't think any other teams stand a chance against Polk? IDK i'm just asking.
  13. I believe Central beat McMinn 9-2 tonight.
  14. Ended tough last year. I was pulling for them.
  15. He can hit the ball a ton. Gap to gap, power, you name it. He's also a great kid.
  16. Good luck to the team! Hopefully Beaty will have a big year.
  17. Scott Moses is the one from McMinn Central. Not really the Chattanooga area but still not too far away. Signed with the University of Belmont as a pitcher/middle infielder.
  18. Central also didn't have half of their players due to football and threw an off pitcher.
  19. Congrats to all the nominees. They were all very deserving but only one could take it home.
  20. McMinn Central's Elizabeth Masingale has to be a front runner for Miss Basketball next year.
