As far as the refs go I would say: INCONSISTENT

Collinwood may very well take the game Tuesday night but the Mustangs will give it all they have.

Loretto got down early in the first qtr by 10 and was down by as many as 16 in the 3rd. They made a comeback and tied it up with about 3 minutes to go in the 4th. Had to foul and Waynesboro made the shots. Loretto lost by 5, I think Sawyer Ray had about 37 points as he couldn't miss, did a great job and had a very good night. Loretto did not shoot well at all either game this year against Waynesboro and has to do a better job at hitting the shots and not rushing shots. Looks like it is shaping up like: 1 Collinwood 2 Waynesboro 3 Loretto 4 Summertown 5 Perry Co. 6 Frank Hughes Isnt it that 1 & 2 get buys then 3 plays 6 (winner plays 2) and 4 plays 5 (winner plays 1)? Also, what day does the tournament start?

I agree with the cwood on top but the rest is any body's guess. Any one of the others could win on any given night. It will depend on who improves the most before the district games start. Loretto looks good at times and terrible at times. They have not played but 8 games this year and need a lot more games. Definitely a work in progress for the Mustangs.

Vikings were down by 18 right before we started the 4th and Loretto couldn't hit from that point forward and had too many turnovers. Perry county was the one who hit anything and everything they shot in the 4th. We had defensive breakdowns and they made the shots when it counted and almost pulled that one out. Loretto was lucky to get that win. As for Fleming he had 4 fouls and 3 were over the back calls. Loretto also had like 16 fouls in the first half alone compared to maybe 8 for Perry county I think Perry County got its share of the calls.

Loretto and Perry Co. Are still on for tonight.

Well scratch the Loretto/FH game as well. postponed due to weather. Loretto tried to have it played last night but FH had a jr high game going on and would not reschedule.

I do know that Loretto and Frank Hughes was moved up an hour. But I have to disagree with the call of FH over Loretto. Loretto has two starters that had one practice prior to the Richland game due to football and only four prior to the Lawrenceburg game. granted Loretto has a lot of work to do but give Loretto some time and they have potential to be just fine. They have good size and good players. They just need time to play together and get back in the grove.

maybe if you paid any attention you would have noticed that I stopped posting prior to the wboro game not after I really didn't care for the trash talk. still don't. However, when one makes up things I feel that I must correct them. Strange thing is Im happy when we play a good game regardless of the outcome. Now I must admit Lotown got people stirred up and left others to try and defend.

Here we go again with the If the refs, If 5 would have been in (which he was 85% of the time), if they wouldn't have tackled our QB so roughly, if the grass wasn't green, if the ball wasn't brown, blah, blah, blah.

Okay, not sure who will win the playoff game but to say he only played "maybe 1 full qtr. total" is simply not true.

i heard that Montogmery was okay. Not sure on that but that is what I was told.

Ray was the one I was thinking of, he is a really good player. Do you know if Montgomery will be able to play baketball this year as I heard he got hurt during football but wasnt sure how bad. Im expecting Collinwood to have a good team.

WCHS01, you seem to be into basketball whats your thoughts on the upcoming season? What will Wayne County have this year?

It will vary depending on the need but I would say around 10. 5 on offense and 5 on defense.

The only issue I had with the MTP game was the fact that I am still trying to figure out who had the ball for MTP. I never could figure that out.

One thing to consider is that Loretto's two losses are to undefeated 3A Lewis Co. and 5A Lawrence County. Not that it is always an issue with 1A vs 2A or 2A va 3A but 2A vs 5A usually is enough to make a difference. I do think it will be a pretty evenly matched game and hopefully a good game with all players staying healthy and no injuries.

A little early but since basketball practice will be starting up here soon and the season will be here before you know it, whiy not. How are all the teams looking this year? Loretto lost three starters, all good ball players. This years team will have one senior and several juniors and sophomores. Loretto should have good height as we have a several at 6'4" and a sophomore at 6'7". Loretto will have a good rounded team with an inside and outside presence. Point guard is a good ball handler and can also hit a shot when needed. Will be good to see the team in action and see what we actually have. All looks good on paper but will it transfer over onto the floor remains to be seen. I am assuming Collinwood will be the team to beat again this year. Perry County lost some really great talent, and Summertown did as well by losing the big guy in the middle. Wayne County lost some good players and still have a really good point gaurd. Not sure on what Frank Hughs has coming back.

Lotown your going to have to stop punching all these people's buttons. It appears that you have gotten not only the MTP people (both of them/maybe just one), Waynesboro people and now you are even getting the Mitchie folks stirred up.

I wondered the same thing about that comment. Dont really know how/why you would/could make that comment without actually being at the game. And maybe he was.

Apparently you didnt notice who posted those predictions. I never gave a prediction for a score, only that I thought Loretto would win. You need to pay attention to who says what.

It's quite obvious you pay no attention to content of the post on this board. I said it would be close and and tough game, but expected Loretto to get the win. 29 to 20 sounds about what I expected. So I would have to disagree with Trinity.
