I don't see your last statement having any merit. SP should be able to handle the Warriors regardless if the sophmore even plays. I am not meaning to sound that any player is not a crusial part of the team but SP will have to lose half the team in order for the Warriors to be considered a favorite in this annual grudge match.

The 2008 team was without a doubt the team that failed to come close to finishing where expected. While some played all out others were playing for self recognition.

Signal Mtn will be the team to beat in Chatt and quite possibly the area.

As a long time SP fan I can honestly say the Pirates should have many more titles and most second place finishes were the result of not being prepared. I do agree Rankin has won the games when he had the best talent and therefore he deserves his due.
