The reason that many people were dissapointed last year was the non-conference schedule, which was weak to say the least, and did not prepare them for the tourny....still it was an outstanding year. Any time you have a change of coaching and a new system put in place, plus the loss of outstanding players to transfer or graduation, there will be some growing pains which can lead to a slow start. It looks as if Union is responding with their recent string of wins, and could scare some people post season.
BTW it looks as though coach Jessee's team is having some growing pains as well Seymour is 4-11 last time I checked their schedule....they may have a tough time in the conference they are in with no weak non-conference teams to spice up their record.
