I just love how Coach Hood only made excuses in the article that was in the Leaf Chroncle instead of giving Houston County any credit. Can you say Classless! Coach Clark spoke highly of CA and its Coaches. Good job Coach Clark!

Congratulations on the win Wayne County your team is a class act and y'all deserve it! I guess Wayne County plays the better grown man football and apparently Huntingdon was a one man maybe two man team!

1. Huntingdon is a great team and well coached. 2. The refs were some of the worst I've seen but equally bad for both teams. 3. #44 is a stud and without him they would not be near as good as they are. 4. There are a lot of crybabys in Huntingdons fan base, crying about calls with a huge lead. 5. Way to go Alum05 talk about classless way to call out an 18 year old on CoachT. You should be proud of your stupidity.

As you can tell from my profile picture I'm from Houston County and I hope we win or at least make it a good game. With that being said after reading every post on this thread it may be be better that we don't win.Because if we do, I'm afraid some of the Huntingdon fans would inflict bodily harm upon themselves or would at least have to come up with a 1001 excuses why little ole Houston beat your team or at least gave them a run for their money.

I think HC will be able to handle Bruceton!

I'm sure they will enjoy their 5-0 start and everybody knows who the big boys are but thanks for telling us. If Houston co plays well and stays healthy I'm sure some of the big boys might get more than they can handle!

Houston Co wore Collinwood down tonight and we are bigger than Collinwood.

#7 was a great kid and all around athlete. I'm from Houston County and my daughter spoke very highly of him. Prayers to his family and teammates for healing and a great season NCS!

Houston County does have good numbers this year with a lot of seniors. 2moro night will tell a little more about how good they are and I do believe they will finish 4th in the district also. As far as CA they are down in numbers and size this year but they also have a good coach and who knows if HC stays healthy they might surprise some people. HC's coaching staff has done a good job this year getting numbers on the sidelines!

Everybody knows that before the last football playoff game that Waverly's basketball coach told his basketball players that it was time for football to be over and start practicing basketball.

Maybe Waverly won't throw this game like they did the playoff game last year.
