We were so saddened to hear the tragic news about Ref Jerry Green who passed away last night after falling ill at the Signal Mountain game last night. So tragic! To the Green family, we send our deepest sympathy to you, and our prayers. We also heard a player from Grace Academy was down last night too. Anyone know if the player is ok? Honest Abe

Listen we won fair and square and ppl can't seem to get ahold of that. We came into the ditch and did work 2A,4A,or 100A doesn't matter we took care of business and ended the TC winning streak by 10 points. We play hard nosed football not 2 hand touch. What do you want us to do put some flags on and not touch each other?? Maybe that's just how you play football. But when Signal Mtn plays football you better button up your chin strap

I understand what you are saying. The only thing that alcoa would gain from playing y'all would be bragging rights. They could then say that they had beaten (or lost to)the best in not only 2-6A but 1A as well.

Who isn't scared of Alcoa?? They've won what like 11 state titles and 6 in a row?? Every program that is not Alcoa should be scared of Alcoa. But then again with the excuses why your not playing Alcoa, just like us and everybody else. So everybody stop doggin Signal for makin excuses for why we're not playing Alcoa when your doin the same exact thing.

MTN MAN sez, If you had an education like one that is givin on the Mountain you would better understand what I'm trying to say. I actually think Signal should play Alcoa however I feel it is a risk. As well as for SP and TC. To be the best you have to beat the best but nobody seems to want to tackle that obstacle, not just SIGNAL MTN.

Ok ill agree that Alcoa basically has magical football powers and we don't want to play them anymore than anybody else does but I don't see why ppl are asking why we don't play them when they themselves are not playing them???
