  1. This is bull sugar. All you DII guys ever do is whine about how you are nevr regarded as at the same level as DI, and i agree with you, lax is growing and we need new talent, but when we have a thread congratulating all the guys who made all state in DI the least you guys can do is say well done and start your own thread about your all state, then maybe ill give you props. But come on let the guys have a little time to be recognized. On that note... was anyone else surprised by the number of USN players, especially berger tying with Grapski. Congrats to him, and great season to all.
  2. every two weeks or so soak my pads in oxyclean and water over the weekend... I usually do it on saturday if the sun is out so that I can lay them out in the sun... It works on cleats too which are the main smell factor for my equipment. A couple hours of soaking and a day of drying is all thats needed.
  3. Im just wondering if anyone has any information and if anyone else has some surprises that are high up on the stats boards that they weren't expecting.
  4. What is M Burns? and what about Caroland, he didnt score any?
  5. After the scores I've seen i think USN is out of the state tourney picture. anyone else?
  6. thats just what I said when every DII guy on here took it upon themselves to vent on me. I fully agree and hope that is whats happening.
  7. Thats a pretty big statement ... try not to dig yourself too big of a hole. Ravenwood may be good, but they dont have the years of experience MBA has. If they do beat MBA this year thats will be huge and will only affirm the fact that lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the state. So more power to ya if you win, but don't bit off more than you can chew.
  8. I think its too early to call.. thats two strong programs, and no one really knows anything about either besides the players and coaches for each team. Especially since apparently USN play no pre-season jamboree. It should be a good game, I'm gonna go with last year's state champs though. I want to see how they recover from the loss of the best player in the state and the second best goalie.
  9. As I understand some teams lost a lot of D and others lost nearly none, who is still strong and who is looking good. I know MBA will be very solid with Turk and Banker. I played summer league with one of their guys this summer and he was very impressive. Any other teams? Redtwin i want to hear from you (as i understand you did play defense). Who impressed you last year if you saw any games.
  10. Was USN's defense any good last year? I hear they lost no defenders, but does that mean anything?

Everyone is talking about MBA, MUS, and McCalie. Who do you think comes in the number 4 spot and why?
  12. That is good to hear. Theres no glory in beating a crippled team. However they would have been good without him.
  13. it would take a lot of ground balls for Grapksi to get all american. I hear he's good at close D but what he's best at is long stick middie. Ive never heard of an LSM getting All American. Gibson and burns are for sure if burns is healthy ( someone at MBA go ask him and report back cuz everyone wants to know) I think a defender needs to get it this year, but I dont have any candidates for that.
  14. the question is how much did MBA lose last year. Besides Regan I dont remember any stand out seniors. Correct me if im wrong but their whole attack and whole defense was unscathed by graduation. The only question mark is Ryan Burns. MBA will be tough this year... as usual.
  15. I haven't heard anything about defense, and think MUS lost their whole starting D. So I have no clue who is going to step it up. However all of MBA's defence is returning. You never know.
