  1. I hate to disagree, but the new coach is an awesome one and I say this with no disrespect towards her, but our girls are ready and have been ready!!! A lot of people said that we lost the "tic-toc" to our clock Jackilann Street, and we might have, but sorry boys this team is all DIGITAL!!! You can look for them to be a fighting team this year!!!
  2. Nation should be joining the team in december. Carnation still has her scholarship to Bethel and they still want her to come play! Carnation will join the team next year (2013) in august!!!
  3. Yea Great choice!!! And I thought Coach Johnson was still cocahing at Lake County is he not?? I think the only teams around here without a Coach right now is Gibson County Girls and South Gibson County Girls Because Peabody got GC's Coach and we got SGC's Coach, but I'll be willin to bet that kaitlin dudley gets the position at Gibson County and that will leave South Gibson!
  4. YES!! Our NEW coach is Meredith(Richardson)Jacobs! We are extremely honored to have one of our very own MVP's/alumni! She graduated from Bradford and also has her retired jersey Located in the Bradford High School Gym! Our girls are ready to get started and look forward to another great year!!!
  5. They may have 7 seniors coming back. They also lost the one that was the tick tock to their clock. They will be an entirely different team next year. Yes she was the tic toc to the clock but that was because the coach choose her to be! EVERY one of those 7 seniors are good inside the 3 pt line they just didnt get this year to show it but anyways this isnt about them right now its about findin them a new coach!
  6. WEll the spot is open, but I'm not sure what they are looking for or if they have already lined someone up!
  7. Coach Larry Eddings of the Bradford Lady Red Devils announced today to his team that he will be stepping down as coach! He will now take the assistant principal position at Bradford High School. Asst. Coach Jenifer Dethloff will also step down from her spot to focus on her position as Head coach of the Softball team! The question is up, who will coach this group of girls??? With 7 seniors next year looks like it should be a great season, but who will step in to fill these spots???
  8. Bradford and Humboldt tonight!
  9. http://http://www.wbbjtv.com/news/local/CommunityReactsToChargeAgainstBradfordSchoolBoardMember-135353563.html http://http://www.wbbjtv.com/news/local/CommunityReactsToChargeAgainstBradfordSchoolBoardMember-135353563.html [wardawg sorry if i seem to pick sides like im about to, but you know as well as I do that should say the referees beat bradford tonight! If anyone from the fan side of 14A is still wondering why bradford is looking so bad and losing so many. Well the answer is simple we are still playing the refs no matter were we go because of the assault one of our school board members put on Donny Joyner (state ref). Im not saying we would have beat Lake county but we would have been close without refs on our backs. Im mean a team like Bradford does not go from almost beating them last year 49-48 in region championship to the next time they meet a year later and lake county beating us 43-26! It just dont happen like that. Our district is wishy washy I mean Union city beat Greenfield we beat union city but greenfield beat us Halls has never been good but yet they pull out on top when they played Peabody I guess what Im trying to say is in Our district you just cant tell Who's Who!!!
  10. I can say that last nights game was sloppy on our side, but then again its Greenfield. We played the lady jackets last year twice and lost both times but swung around to go to sub-state, and may I remind you our record wasn't very good then either. Bradford is the type of team to get serious when it matters most and do what they have to do to get somewhere. Losing Street will be something we will have to conquere but when losing Street next year 7 juniors will step up to lead our team. So just lettin yall know dont count us out yet we like to use suprise attach when your least especting it!!!
  11. Yea you have seriously got to be kidding me!! Its way to early for that mess! You may not know how to make predictions but you sure do know how to make teams mad by counting them out! and really if it wasnt for greenfeild and bradford just about the same record I might have takin your predictions just a little bit seriously bradford lady devils are only a game behind them at 6-1 but that is only because the lady jackets have had more games than us or we would be tied with them at 7-1!! Just wait to get a little further in district games then you can go making your predicitons but even then its anybodys game!!!
  12. Bradord beat Trenton 50-44! Awesome game!!
  13. Bradord beat Trenton 50-44! Awesome game!!
  14. I was hoping someone would get smart and ask that question! First of let me just start by saying Huntingdon isn't as good as that score says they are. The refs were a little nicer but we just couldnt get the ball to drop well played well, but we have to play them agian soon so we will show them how bad of a night we acutally had! So that right there gives lake co., Greenfield, Union city, and Bradford all there 1st loss! That being said everyone has there bad night!!!
  15. Well we will see show we stack up agianst Greenfield and Lake Co. soon enough and just so happens to be in the same week as well! We have Greenfield on the 13th and Lake co. on the 16th so we will see! but yea we did have trouble agianst union city but only because we were playing 5 agianst 8 not taking sides or anything but those refs were all for some union city, And anybody that was watchin would have told you that shoot you could probably tell if you werent at the game union city lead the entire game until the last 4 mins of the game when we pulled ahead and that was from a combo of Hard Team Effort and I do believe the refs got tired and out of breath so they stop blowing the whistle!!!
  16. 14A in my opinion has always been loaded!! But this year should be super fun lots of great teams and great players!! Bradford is ready first 4 games and we are 4-0! Strong Defense and Nice Offense it should be nice to see how well we play we district games start!!
  17. A junior at Liberty Technology Magnet High School died on Saturday due to injuries she suffered in a one-vehicle accident on Friday night. According to Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork, 17-year-old Shuntarius Sinclair was one of three passengers in a 2002 GMC crew-cab pickup driven by Markarios D. Curry, 37, of Jackson. Woolfork said the accident occurred in the 900 block of Perry Switch Road. "Mr. Curry was driving west on Perry Switch Road when a deer apparently ran into his path and went through the front windshield and out the back glass," he said. Woolfork said the deer struck Sinclair in the face and also injured Curry and the other two passengers, 17-year-old Dominique Davis and 15-year-old Daniel Hutch. Woolfork said Curry, Davis and Hutch were treated and released after all four were transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital via ambulance. "The deceased was transported to Vanderbilt, where she later died," Woolfork said. Woolfork said the accident is still under investigation, and speeding and alcohol could have contributed to the accident. Sinclair was a former player for the girls' basketball team at Liberty. Lady Crusaders basketball coach Jennifer Hicks asked Lisa Clement, former chaplain for the athletic department at Lambuth University, to talk to her players at practice Saturday morning. "Shuntarius was friends with a lot of the girls on the team, and they're obviously affected by this," said Hicks, who is in her first year coaching the Lady Crusaders. "She was like a sister to some of the girls. "She had a good personality, and her friends had fun with her. It's a real tragedy when someone so young dies this way." Kevin Weeks was the Lady Crusaders' coach last season, and he said he received numerous voice-mails and text messages letting him know Sinclair had died. "Shuntarius was a girl that worked hard to be successful," Weeks said. "We had a good team last year, and she was the first player that came off the bench. "She played a key role for us during games, and she was one that was close with just about everyone else on the team." Weeks remembered Sinclair fondly but admitted she could give him attitude at times. "There'd be times in practice Shuntarius would make me smile, then there'd be times she'd make me roll my eyes or she'd roll her eyes at me," Weeks said. "But she was always there for her teammates and was an important part of the success we had. "But the basketball aspect of it is so unimportant because we lost a human being way too soon. Shuntarius wasn't a very outspoken person, but I'm sure she had plenty of hopes and dreams. None of those will be fulfilled now, and it just makes you wonder about some of these things."
  18. Your predictions for state champions are good I agree but its way to early to see who will be going this year and not just because they are my hometown team or anything but Bradfords Lady Devils are pretty strong this year with 1 senior, 8 juniors, 1 sophmore, and 4 freshman! If they dont get further than substate like last year this year then look for those 8 juniors stepping up to be seniors and taking it ALL THE WAY next year!!
  19. Yea sarah combs was one of the two players we lost this year we also lost kelsey bratton but sarah was our post player!!
  20. How well do you think the lady devils will do this season??
