  1. You may be able to watch it at: http://new.livestream.com/fhsfootballboosters/events/2352311?origin=Event%20Broadcast&mixpanel_id=1406ee70d8dcd-00ebefc0a-67111677-15f900-1406ee70d8e168&acc_id=5176340&medium=email
  2. Fulton hasn't given up a point in 3 games or scored less than 46. Will Farragut score or be able to limit their offense? Predict the score................ Farragut 27-26
  3. Former44 has made some right on observations. Play calling has always been a handicap for the Farragut players. Having a new offensive coordinator doesn't help. I watched Maryville on Sunday, particularly comparing Quarles' play calling to Farragut's against OR. It was like comparing the Green Bay Packers to.......you get the idea. Fain has done a good job running but why not give Barnett some snaps. He has done a great job on kick offs being allusive and tuff to bring down. I seem to remember a few years ago there was another Farragut player that was used sparingly (played well when he did play) until near the end of the season. When they finally gave him a chance he averaged over 100 yards a game and I think over 200 in one game. Maybe Jordan Freeman? .
  4. Yes, Alcoa went 5 for 5 on offense. Farragut was missing 6 starters. #64, #74, #75, #60, #25 & #51 went out early and did not return. Some returned for the final scrimmage against Powell (who I believe went to the state finals last year), Powell did not score against the Farragut defense. Perhaps many of the over confident DB fans may be in for a surprise come Friday. The game may be closer than you think.
  5. Anyone know the location and time of this scrimmage tomorrow? Thanks in advance.
  6. Anyone see the scrimmage? How did the ads look?
  7. Bearden has one top pitcher, Boyles, and others that will compete. Their recent strength is their hitting, up and down their lineup. They will destroy mediocre pitching. They could surprise everyone being in the weaker bracket and win it all. It appeared the deck has been stacked against Farragut to make 5peat a real challenge. Their 2 top pitchers out injured and placed in the bracket with Tennessee's top ranked teams: Upper Bracket 2 Mount Juliet 3 Riverdale 5 Farragut 9 Arlington Lower Bracket 8 Germantown 10 Bearden 15 Walker Valley 16 Franklin If Farragut wins this one they will have to find pitching and hitting from players that haven't been very productive lately. If they can step up to the challenge TSSAA bracket placement will not stop the Ads.
  8. I think you are still drunk.....no upset here!
  9. What were the scores? Close or blowouts?
  10. Ads have have some serious challenges in order to get back to state this year. Their top pitcher, Xander Taylor, is out for the year. Kyle Serrano out until about mid-April. Three freshman pitchers, Raby, Mosiello, & Lessig, have to step up and mature very quickly. So far, for the most part, they have. Freeman & Chambers have been excellent. Remember, all teams will lose games. Farragut lost 8 games last year and still won state. Also, next year all of their current pitching staff will be back. Only 2 seniors on their roster. The team is made up of almost half freshman and sophomores. GO ADS!!
  11. Farragut 7 Station Camp 4 Farragut got their 3rd win from another freshman pitcher (Lessig). Their first 2 game starters pitched in last week's district games, their preseason #1 (Taylor out for season) & #2 starter (Serrano out til approx. mid April). Three freshman pitchers stepped up and won all 3 games from some very good teams. The Scenic City Classic displayed many of the best teams in TN.
  12. I believe Farragut will be much better next year. It think it was obvious that Phillips is a much better QB that #4 and having a passing game along with the the returning OL to keep and improve the running game will give them a good chance to challenge for the district. Billy Williams & Jetton with a year under their belt, and having a QB that can pass, will significantly improve the offense. They need another back to go along with Frain and some defense replacements.
  13. ADS offense wakes up just in time for this game and wins it 20-14
  14. It seems that the Blackman supporters are a little over confident. Just because Farragut did not play their best football at the end of season you are overlooking some very good football against some very good teams. They beat (Oak Ridge, Knoxville West and McMinn County) who have a combined record, not counting their loses to Farragut, of 23-4. Excluding their lose to Lenoir City at the end of season, their other two loses were to two undefeated teams, Maryville and Dobyns-Bennett, (7-14, by a last quarter TD). The only game that DB scored less than 40 points. Looking ahead to your rematch with Riverdale may be a little premature. Be prepared for a surprise on Friday night. Farragut 24-21
