Yeah, this 3rd place team went to Cookeville. None of the other teams in our district did. We didn't have a Warbritton on the team when we won a state championship in the past. Wait and see what happens this Fall. Total domination. The West Carroll game was a fluke and everyone knows it. Look at what we did to them in the playoffs. All the West Carroll regular season game did last year was wake us up a little. We appreciate it War Eagles. We will be 5-0 in district play and see what we can do against Adamsville in November.

People from Dresden put their tails between their legs when they see us Huntingdon people because they are soft and know when to bow down. That won't change this fall either. Watched your scrimmage with TCA yesterday. 2 really soft teams and neither one has an offensive line at all. Whoever we end up putting at QB will be the district MVP. Wait and see. I earlier picked Dresden to finish 2nd in our district, now they are 4th. McKenzie and West Carroll will both beat them. An interesting game to see is going to be the Humboldt/West Carroll game. That will help set the tone for one of the 2 of them in the 1A playoffs.

Well, it looks like it is going to be us (Huntingdon), you guys, and maybe Mitchell to see who goes to Cookeville. Watched TCA and Dresden yesterday. TCA nor Dresden has an offensive line at all. Both are soft. TCA has no depth. I bet you guys beat TCA by 40 or more. McKenzie will be better but they won't beat us because they know they can't. Westwood always fizzles out in November. I truely believe we will be in a different quad than you guys and will end up meeting in the Semifinals. Heard you guys have a ton of great players back from last year's run. We lost some great linemen and our 3,000 yd rusher but we'll find a way to meet up with you guys in late November.

I saw Dresden yesterday against TCA and you guys will beat them this year. They were very disappointing. They have no offensive line and play softer than they have the last couple of years. McKenzie is improved but not sure if they can recover from the season they had last year within one year. Sounds like you guys and Union City had a good scrimmage but I heard from another source they beat you guys pretty well. But that might have been more the case when substituting occurred. From what I have seen and heard this spring it looks like we'll definitely continue our dominance and finish first while you guys and McKenzie will battle for 2nd and 3rd, Dresden 4th, Gleason 5th, and Bruceton last.

I went to your scrimmage yesterday and heard from a friend about your Camden scrimmage. You guys don't have a prayer against us come Week 10. You have some athletes at some spots but everyone knows if you can't block you aren't going to beat a good team. I can tell you guys are trying to give a lot of your younger guys some looks on defense to build depth but your offensive line is not going to block half your schedule. I was actually quite disappointed in your team yesterday. I was expecting some hard hits and some kind of intensity...but there was none of that. What's funny is the hardest hit you guys had was by one of your RB/WR kids when he ran over a TCA defender. We can give you our backups from our offensive line and you can use them as your starting o line this fall in exchange for your 2 Adamsville films from the last 2 years since that is the only team with a chance of beating us in the playoffs. I do wish you guys luck in your pursuit of 2nd place in our district. Side note: Heard West Carroll got destroyed by Union City.

Clarksville schools don't care about athletics. Sports stay and will continue to stay on the back burner. They don't pay coaches well enough. They don't have a field house for each school. There isn't any stability with kids staying at a school all 4 years. They don't have a true middle school program set up. Sure they have athletes but all big cities have athletes so no need saying that anymore. They will never win more than 2 playoff games in a season because they eventually run into a school with better coaching and more $ spent on the program.

What poor person came up with that saying anyway? Candy and nuts??? I will go ahead and tell ya if all i got were candy and nuts for Christmas it would lack the merry part. But anyway...Dresden's o-line has always been their downfall. We smoke them every year because they can't score on us. Our d-line is in the backfield every play. If they played the schedule we play every year they would go 6-4 or 7-3 at best. Good luck against Camden...you will need it.

Our boys aren't any bigger than yours...ours are just meaner and tougher. I may come to your scrimmage with Camden but I'm sure they will embarrass you guys just like we will late October.

What about Union City, Lake Co., and West Carroll? What do you guys think your teams are going to be like? West Carroll I bet believes they can give Dresden and Humboldt all they want. I heard if West Carroll wouldn't have thrown a pick late in the game and just kept running the ball down Dresden's throat that they would have beaten them and won the district title. Yall better watch West Carroll...I'm starting to like them...but just a tiny bit.

If Dresden is healthy come November it will either be them or Humboldt going to Cookeville. Dresden will get better as the season goes along and then run into us and lose then start a new winning streak in the playoffs. Then at some point they will meet Humboldt and at this point I say they will lose to Humboldt.

Us and Adamsville are the teams to beat in the West. Mitchell might be in the mix a little but will just get outcoached and brutalized by us and Adamsville. Peabody will be good enough to get in our quad but they will just get mauled by us and Adamsville as well. If you want to go to Cookeville you are going to have to beat us both....so in other words...you aren't going.

I'm going to disagree with there being four 1A teams in East TN better than the best 1A school in West TN. I think Humboldt is the most talented 1A team in the state that lacks discipline and coaching. I think Dresden is one the best coached 1A teams that just lacks size and speed. I think the best 1A teams in East TN are Gville (who has lost a ton of players that will hurt them this year), SouthPitt (great every year but now have a coaching issue), and Coalfield (returning a ton of players and got close to being the team to beat last year). There are 2 middle TN teams you better keep your eyes on: Moore Co. and Nashville Christian. Both are returning a ton of starters and Moore Co. has been there and done that in the playoffs many times. I know if the top 4 teams in East TN were to play Dresden or Humboldt in weeks 1-4, I'm willing to bet Dresden would do no worse than split with them and Humboldt would win atleast one of the 4 games if not also split. It is going to be interesting in 1A. 2A for us will be interesting as well.

Dresden got lucky they beat Humboldt a couple of years ago in the playoffs. Won't happen this year. They are way too loaded to stop. They have 3 potential all-staters on both sides of the ball. Dresden is way too slow to catch half their players. Dresden better hope Humboldt slips up and loses to UC or LC or WC. We have only one obstacle in our 2A playoff paths: Adamsville

When are you guys scrimmaging Union City? Wouldn't mind seeing that. 2 good teams that will be looking to advance deep in the playoffs in 1A this fall. And we play both of you this fall. Neither of you will have to worry about us in the playoffs though. I hope we improve enough as the season goes along to play Adamsville for a shot at Cookeville again.

You got that right. TCA isn't tough enough to beat us or Adamsville. They are a fun team to watch on offense though. Do Gleason and Bruceton have any fans? Or all they all mutes?

Dresden will lose both of those but will get better in the process. We will win all our district games so that is 5 wins for sure. We will beat Obion Co. and Union City as well. That is 7 wins. The Westview game will be a toss up depending on what happens with them and Dresden. Camden and Milan will be our only 2 chances truely for a loss but are a little later in the season when I know we will be gaining steam. So only 5 wins is a joke. Won't happen.

Morris does that every spring. He plays down in the scrimmages so his kids will work harder. It is psychological. Has Milan got more silver balls than gold balls now...(5 to 4)...??? Everybody talks about how great 3A is...if it is so great then why do the same teams go the championship each year. 1A and 2A are the most balanced classes in the state. Multiple teams have a chance every year. Does Bruceton still have a football team?

Who is Dresden, Gleason, and Bruceton scrimmaging this spring? I heard maybe Camden and Dresden this spring...any truth to that?

Our defense will probably cause you guys trouble if your o-line is weak. But your defense may help make up the difference. I think it will be a good game between us but we are just a hump you will never get over. How much did Gleason lose?

Why will the Rebels be back Wingman? Elaborate...

McKenzie and Huntingdon will be solid on defense too but with the returners Dresden has they should be in pretty good shape. The offenses of the district will be interesting. I would say McKenzie should be better on that side of the ball but I believe the rest of the district's offenses will be down compared to last year. We will get there by the end of the year but are replacing most of our o-line and a 3,000+ rusher. Dresden's offense is going to have to replace most of the o-line too along with a 2,000+ rusher themselves. Special teams this year may play a big role in scoring for our district.
