I see Dyersburg wining because they have too many shooters. SS is on a mission. They were embarrassed against FW and they beat Crockett by at least 10.

i really meant that TSSAA just gave FW another reason to play even harder. but that being said should be a great game tonight. I am looking forward to some different match ups on SAT.

Saturday will be very interesting. I think is going to come down to how the officials are calling the game and who can use that in their advantage. They should be from Memphis area if i am not mistaken. so that usually means more hand checking is allowed. big question is the interior game and what 's allowed and not. could be interesting if FW wins tonight they play Westview. i think Jackson dominates. If Southside wins i think the post play for SS is way too much for Westview. On the other hand SS loses then they play Obion who has some size to off set them. then it comes down to guard play. I know Obion is hit and miss with their young guards not sure about SS. I think if FW loses the pose a difficult match up with Obion. so question is who do you want to play the big guys (Obion) are the guards (Westview). the other 2 games i think Dyersburg is now really mad and Crockett is starting to get on a roll.

I agree you need to stay away from Dyersburg as long as possible. they shoot the mess out of the 3 ball. I believe though with the right guard play they can be beat. you need to try and shut down a couple of them and pray the others don't get hot... But Westview is hurting on the inside lost the big 6'5 kid. he is not much of a scorer but rebounds good and helps on def. Obion county is struggling with keeping their big out of foul trouble. if they can ever get into sync for a game or 2 they could be hard to handle. I think FW may beat SS just because TSSAA has given them a reason to prove everyone wrong. The key this time of year is getting to play at home.

just wondering is this kid a game changer? or does FW have enough guns with out him? this maybe great for SS...or even Lexington

This could be an interesting tourney both district and regional. I foresee some possible upsets on a neutral court. Don't misunderstand me, Dyersburg is the best team in AA in west TN at home. But a neutral court could hurt. 14AA is not going to just lay down for 13AA. Everyone better be ready to bring their A game or you may end up with your feelings hurt. I am going to enjoy watching Basketball the next couple of weeks.

Ok after tonight you can throw all the records out. A brand new season begins. I agree with some of MCbobcats statement. But I am thinking maybe this year you may see an all 13AA regional final, but really it is so even (other than Dyersburg.) I think everyone else is playing for runner-up

Westview can beat anyone on any given night, but they live and die with the 3 ball. the other teams such as Dyersburg, Southside, FW are to athletic for them. 13 AA tonight Westview @ Dyersburg (Dyersburg) S.Gibson @ Crockett (S.Gibson) Obion CO @ Milan (Obion CO)

these are my substate predicitions region 7 winner Dyersburg vs Region 8 runner up Craigmont region 7 runner up FW vs Region 8 winner Douglass and both Dyersburg and FW to Murfreesboro

Crockett has lost their Point guard so they maybe out of the loop. Obion is very inconsistent but has players that can make plays if they ever figure out how to put a whole game together. Dburg and WV are the best in 13AA. But still could see some possible upsets at a neutral floor... I.E South Gibson host the district tourney.

PG guard at WV went to Memphis as a freshman played but didn't receive enough credits to be a sophomore. so returned to WV and played again as a freshman. TSSAA ruled in there favor this summer that he was still edible to play this season. So it is legit according to TSSAA. he is defiantly a play maker for them.

Dyersburg can create a lot of things of the dribble. It is true the live a lot by the 3. I think they play really good Def. I think it could do them some good to lose a regular season game. In order to make them hungry at tourney time. Westview is really good at home and having a 5th year senior helps a lot. WV and Dyersburg are the best teams in 13AA.again I say if you can stay away from Dyersburg you have a chance.

No way the most athletic team in the region belongs to Dyersburg. you better finish 1,2,3 in your region cause you don't want to travel to Dyersburg.

that Poll is determined by strength of schedule and success vs strength of schedule. It is just computer generated. but I agree AA is wide open several good teams. It will be an interesting year. I think depending on the strength of your district and region some good teams will get knocked out early. But we will have to wait till Late Feb to see where it will all shake out

That's awesome for that young man .I am glad he didn't tear anything. Like I said that's a rumor I heard thank you for the proper information. I never wish anything bad to any of these young men. With that being said I will refer to the pervious state Fayette Ware will be hard to beat on that side of the Region.

Fayette Ware is in Trouble if the rumor about DJ is true. .. Out for year with torn ACL... But if that is just rumor they will be very tough on that side of region. Crockett is a solid Defensive team. they will give everyone trouble all year long. Dyersburg is probably the most consistent of all 13AA. Westview will live and die with the 3. Obion is very in consistent with their big guy and young back court. 1. Dyersburg 2. Crockett County/ Obion County 4. Westview 5. South Gibson 6. Milan

When is Jackson stated to come back? I heard he played in the Ripley game. The way that side of Region sounds you better win at home cause everyone is pretty equal. I think there are some surprises in 7AA this year. 13AA will compete more this year than in the past. Their top four are as good as the top four in 14AA and that hasn't been the case in years past. going to be exciting games in this region this year.

I think Westview will be really inconsistent this year. Dyersburg will the most consistent team in the conference. Obion shows spurts of really good basketball at times. Crockett Co has trouble scoring but their Defense will keep them in every game. Gonna be very interesting in Jan and Feb.

Lots of unpredictability in 13AA this year . Should be some exciting games to watch. Look forward to seeing where everyone is when the dust settles in Feb.

Sorry but everyone is playing for 2nd place in AAA. Memphis East is the best team in TN and all of them are juniors and sophomores...

I saw where S. Gibson beat Boliver. Is S. Gibson that much improved or is Boliver still down? From what I was hearing Preseason Boliver should be in the top 4 of 14AA.
