15-1 on the season after another 4-0 week. District Standings After Week 6 Page 4-0 Giles 4-0 Fairview 4-1 Hickman 3-2 Lewis Co. 2-2 Marshall 1-3 Summit 1-3 East Hickman 1-4 Spring Hill 0-5 No upsets this week as each team that was a favorite took care of business. No game was close. However this week, we have some quality match-ups and tough picks. Game of the Week Fairview @ Giles- If the Fairview team that beat Marshall tonight shows up in the Brickyard then it should be an exciting night. I don't think Fairview can beat Giles but they will actually test them for four quarters. Fairview will not be able to stop Giles Co.'s passing game. I say Al Cobb goes over 300 yards. Giles 35 Fairview 21 Other Games Page at East Hickman- Patriots should roll easy as the wheels on the bus have fallen off in East Hickman. I see the typical East fans are bashing their coach. East doesn't win a game the rest of the year, the Patriots get back going after their bye week. Page 42 East 6 Lewis vs. Hickman- This is the 2nd best game of the night. Typically this match-up has been very physical. This will be a very tough game to decide who will win. I think Hickman wins late due to better coaching. Hickman 28 Lewis 20 Summit @ Marshall Co.- If our coaches ever decided to use our players to the best of their abilities then we would be winning more games, until then teams like Summit will hang around with us. But I'll take the Tigers with a 31-20 victory.

Really because it is right here in my DVD player, the coaches exchanged this morning and I have one in my possession. Hickman fans are lying saying no one tackled #21 on the play. If you guy are so sure put it on here. I would but that is way too much technology for me to figure out. I have connections to each team I the district so you can't doubt me all you want

I wasn't there but I did just get a copy of the game from our HC. After watching the film seemed like a hard fought battle on each side. The play in question did happen on Hickman's sideline. # 21 goes up for the ball, doesn't catch it, the hickman player tackles him high and drives his head into the ground. # 21 gets up stands over him and that is it. Both players were assessed unsportsmanlike penalties. If there was a foot stomp he would have been ejected as there were two officials right on top of the play. Seem like emotions were high, no dirty play there. Seems to me the Hickman Co. faithful are still upset that they got shut out on homecoming. Fairview did something Marshall couldn't do and that is stop #11. Also by the way that holding call on #35 was not on him, it was on your 3rd receiver in your trips right set that held the DE who was chasing the QB.

Marshall Co. Board of Ed did the right thing by letting them go. Because no one is beyond reproach, but that is not the case in Giles. This is his 2nd major TSSAA in 2 years and you and the rest of Giles Co. sees no wrong in it. This is more than just football games, this is about life. Young men need to see when you do something wrong there are legit consequences. Heck we see they don't learn them in Pulaski- look at Wallace's first month in Oxford. OC and company maybe winning games now but they are hurting these boys later in life. Now go ahead turn this around, deflect, and poke fun at Marshall, because you can't handle the truth. Yes, I know our team is not very good this year, but the horses are coming soon. Too bad OC won't be around to get whats coming to him.

There was no head stomping in the game. Hickman Co. fans are making this up. Like I said I have a source at Fairview who is a fine young man that calls it like he sees it. He said #21 did not head stomp anyone. He said #21 was tackled late after a play got up and stood over the young man who tackled him late. Both players were assessed unsportsmanlike penalties. He did say Hickman Co. had another unsportsmanlike conduct after hitting #21 late after an interception. For Hickman Co. fans to come on here and bash a young man's character by telling lies is uncalled for. I will get the game film later this afternoon and can confirm this 100%. But I trust my source and I don't trust these Hickman fans.

Once again Giles Co. people are twisting the truth to their liking. Don't you think if they were stealing money criminal charges would have been filed? I will say it right now that Giles Co. WILL NOT win the state championship. They are not as good as the 2009 state championship team they had. OC's past will come back to bite him and karma will reign once November rolls around.

Results after Week 4 of District Play Page 4-0 Giles 3-0 Fairview 3-1 Hickman 2-2 Lewis Co. 1-2 Marshall 1-2 Summit 1-2 East Hickman 1-3 Spring Hill 0-4 Last week I went 4-0 picking Summit to get their first district win in school history. Coach Keesler has proven me wrong with the way he has improved his team each week. It seems if the QB stays healthy then they are very competitive. My Tigers finally got a win against Spring Hill it was nice to get in the win column and I hope Coach Pitts can build on that and move forward. Game of the Week Hickman Co. at Summit- The Bulldogs got shutout in their homecoming against a stingy Fairview defense. The Spartans got their first W in district play. This game should be a good one and probably will be over in the shortest amount of time since both teams like to keep it on the ground. I'll take Hickman winning in the 4th by a score of 28-13. Other Games Giles Co. vs. Spring Hill- The ole ball coach is going to be serving the 2nd game of his "suspension". This one will be over early and the Bobcats can rest up for a big test at the Brickyard the next week. Giles 56 Spring Hill 6 Marshall vs. Fairview- Looks like the Jackets are slowly turning things around. Their defense is one of the toughest in the district and they probably have the most playmakers but have been unable to blow people out like last season. For that reason I think my Tigers can hang tough the entire game, but will come up a little short. Fairview 28 Marshall Co. 21 The Fan Bases think they are a lot better than they are Game of the Week East Hickman at Lewis- Both fan bases have unrealistic expectations. Both are subpar this season. This should be a very good game down til the end but Lewis will win out due to being the more physical of the two. Lewis Co. 35 East Hickman 28

C'mon do it then. Sounds to me like we got an upset mama on the board who doesn't know the game. After placing some calls in this morning, the only face mask penalty the Moore kid has had all year was at Page. I talked to a source I am pretty confident is a honest young man who gave me the synopsis of last nights game. He said it was a hard hitting game on both sides and no one had their head stomped. I think Hickman may have been thinking they were a little better than they actually are and now are upset they got shut out on homecoming. But bulldog11 you are an example if why a woman shouldn't post about the game of football and I really hope you are a woman.

You my friend are just reinforcing what a lot of people around Middle TN are beginning to find out that Giles Co. has a win at all cost mentality. You realize the next time your coach pushes the envelope and we know he will that a postseason ban will be handed down. You continue to deflect away. It is like he has you guys brainwashed. I am glad my son never played for a man like OC, i don't care if he is a great coach, I will take a man of character any day. Giles Co. administration, students, and fans have made it clear where you guys stand.

From what I hear East has their chances but couldn't capitalize. What has happened to Fairview? I know I give them a hard time but they have completely underachieved so far this year. Is it coaching? Is it the QB? What is the problem in Jacket land? Game of the Week Summit @ East Hickman- So this is not a top of the district match up but I think this has the chance to be a really good game that will come down to the wire. I doubted Summit after seeing their game against Northwest but they get better each week. I think they get their first district win this week with a last second TD against East. Summit 28 East Hickman 21 Other Games Spring Hill at Marshall Co.- The Coach Scharsch farewell tour continues as the Tigers will get the mercy rule going in the third and rest up for a big game next week against Fairview. Marshall- 49 Spring Hill- 6 Lewis Co. at Page- Lewis Co. fans are delusional thinking their team is better than last year. This Page teams IS better than last year and they will dominate the game in all three phases. Look for the Patriots to pull away in the 2nd half. Page 28 Lewis 14 Fairview at Hickman Co.- Fairview won both games last year and even though I am impressed with how hard Hickman plays I don't think they have fully closed the gap on the Yellow Jackets. Fairview 35 Hickman 14 Giles Co.- Fans will hold a pep rally in honor of their Head Coach who they will defend no matter how many rules they break. It was a shame seeing all the support for a man who has been caught cheating multiple times. Really doesn't speak well on what the town and school prioritize. Now WOMG and likearock can point out Marshall's flaws, call us a landfill, and make a comment about our old or new coach. But that still doesn't change the fact you support a known cheater.

Are you 42 points better than last year? You have the same head coach as last year. So what has changed besides a couple new coaches? I think Hickman may be getting a little over confident after a pretty weak early schedule.

I see the delusional Lewis Co. fans are back after beating a terrible Creekwood team. Your team is nowhere near as good as it was last year. The only upgrade I have seen has been at the QB position. You will not beat Page this week. From what I have seen from Page they struggled early trying to find an identity and now they have.

So what is the news that is coming out? Did the TSSAA agree with the school and the two week suspension is it? Or did they drop the hammer on Giles? I have been out of town this week on business and just got back late last night so this is all new to me. Help a fan out. BTW Go Tigers!!! (even though if I was in Vegas my money is on Giles)

Standings After Week 2 of District Play Giles 2-0 Page 2-0 Hickman 1-1 Fairview 1-1 East Hickman 1-1 Lewis Co. 1-1 Marshall 0-1 Summit 0-1 Spring Hill 0-2 Week 3 of District Play Game of the Week and Upset of the Week East Hickman at Fairview- You have the Eagles coming off a big thrashing of Spring Hill while the Yellow Jackets were upset at Page. From the sounds of things the wheels on the bus are falling off for Fairview. This is a rivalry game with the schools being 15 minutes from one another. I am calling for East Hickman to win by the score of 28-21. Rest of the Games Marshall at Giles This is going to get ugly for my Tigers. We have struggled the last two weeks while it seems the Bobcats keep getting better. I was impressed with their cohesiveness of the entire team Friday night in Centerville. Al Cobb to Kenton Baker will be heard early and often. Giles 49 Marshall 14 Hickman Co. at Spring Hill Coach Rewis has really turned this program around. I look for them to finish 8-2 possibly 9-1 on the year. Their RB is tough as nails and the rest of the team follow suits. If Spring Hill loses by the mercy rule in the game, it will be the final nail in the coffin for their HC. Hickman 42 Spring Hill 13 Page at Summit Page has seemed to have turned the corner after starting the season 0-2 against larger schools. Coach Rathbone has the Patriots playing inspired football. I believe they will be the last test for Giles. Summit has seemed to improve each week but looks like they got a little beat up in the last game. This will not be a good week for the Spartans. Page 35 Summit 7 Lewis Co. plays Creekwood and the Panthers should roll easily.

My team is not the team everyone was talking about being great and is now not meeting expectations. I knew Marshall was going to struggle once Coach Turchetta was let go so late in the game. So what's your excuse slim??

I dont think this is going to be pretty for my Tigers. They have not looked nearly as good as they did when Coach Turchetta was coaching them

Giles dominates Hickman as I predicted. Summit put up a better fight than I thought they would against Lewis. Lewis however had alot of injured and suspended players nonetheless the Spartans can build of this effort. Is the Spring Hill coach finally on the hot seat?? Getting embarassed by East Hickman. East rolls into Fairview next week with a better record than the Jackets. Speaking of the Jackets, where is Irish9. I old you so. I almost predicted the score perfectly. 4-0 this week. Talking to people in Lewis they have not been very happy with the defense the last two years. They said for years their defense was swarming and very difficult to move the ball against and the last two years with a new scheme-teams have been racking up yards and putting a lot of points on the scoreboard. I have heard of controlling school boards, but I doubt the superintendent told him what plays to run. If that is the case, why is the next coach having success?

Someone is really sensitive. Sometimes the truth hurts. Hope to meet some Hickman Co. fans tomorrow night in Centerville. I will not dare cross over to enemy territory and sit with Giles.

You are talking about the same game where it took you 4 downs inside the ten to score your only TD of the game. Neither team really moved the ball the entire game. Also your only TD was on a short field due to NW ineptness on Special Teams. Northwest was driving on their first series until a penalty. I have seen every team in the district play this year either in person or on film except Giles Co. Summit is in trouble. They have a long way to go before they are competitive on the 3A and 4A level. Next year will be even more of a struggle on the 5A/6A level even with Seniors.

What did I tell you when Giles Co. fans run out of excuses they use the classic technique of deflection. So you are now blaming OC's cheating on the Marshall Co. school board just like you blamed the Giles Co. basketball coach last year when you couldn't have spring practice. Take off the rose-colored glasses and have some integrity.
