That team was very good. And Catholic had a very good 8th grade teams this year. Those two 8th grade programs are the best in Knoxville year in and year out.

How do you explain the Silvey kid that went to Catholic from Loudon where he played 8th grade ball last year. I'll tell you. A free education and a place to live, courtesy of Catholic High School. Not crying facts are facts. Not against Catholic fans like QSouth89 and others, but Irishlife is giving y'all a bad rap with posts like that.

Kids come play for the Fulton 8th grade program simply for the fact they have the best coaching staff in the area for that age group and they have a history of championships. Kids wanna play for a winner. And to be honest about 95% of the kids on that team go the middle schools that feed into Fulton. This was the first time in about 6 years that program hasn't played for the city championship.

For Greeneville people. Us Fulton fans do not claim Vols1234 lol. He has hopped on the bandwagon from after we destroyed Knox Central.

Fulton scheduled 5 higher class teams. There strength of schedule is watered down IMO because of how terrible Austin East is this year. But 3 other teams from their district had at least 5 wins.

I believe Alcoa scored 90 something a few years ago. I don't believe Fulton would do something like that. They are capable but they won't out of respect.

And a ton of fans from other teams will be all over that thread when it happens.Should be an epic game. 18 days.

Does anyone else think it's wrong that "overall victories over teams in same class" is a tiebreaker before "overall victories over teams in higher class" even though those tiebreakers are further down the line they just seem mixed up.

I believe Fulton will be a better team after the Christian County game. The falcons needed to face a little bit of adversity and a physical game.

Very good point. Maybe the cold had something to do with tackling as well. The players will get better at that after they adjust to it in the next week or so.

Fulton turned it over twice in the red zone and had a TD called back in the final minute. Could have scored at least 79 points.

1 touchdown was against the backups late in the forth and another was an interception return.

Fulton wins 61-28.

A thread involving Fulton is not complete without a Greenville fan taking a shot at the falcons.

I'm a Fulton fan. But let's be honest Ensworth would probably beat Fulton. I love the falcons and I'm enjoying this season as much as anyone and I would love to see this game. But let's not get too big of a head. Ensworth literally can get the best athletes around metro Nashville and Fulton has about 900 students that are zoned for them and they have to find the gems in what they get. This Fulton team is one you see about every 25 years. They are just the best team Knoxville has seen in a while and they are getting a lot if hype and they deserve every bit of it.

I think Trinity was #2 according to USA Today at the time Ensworth beat them. Trinity is now 4-4 and seems really over rated. Never the less I would pay triple the amount T$$AA charges to see these two programs play.
