I know all about the small college stuff, had an older relative go through it in Georgia. It paid for school though, but like the majority of D2 schools, his was pieced together with different grants and stuff to get everything paid for. Now a days that's what is most important. As far as kids getting shots from small schools, most kids think that programs like Carson Newman are easy or a joke because they don't always play on TV or in front of 60,000 or more, then they go and find out that even at the D2 level footballnin college is tough.
