  1. You got every one of them right didn't you? Way to go man!
  2. I couldn't agree more. This is the same thing I have been saying and actually made a comment on the TSSAA facebook page after they released the standings for week 9. It is crap that they put 3 of the top 4 teams in the state in quad 3 and quad 4 is the cupcake quad. Mark my words: Whichever team wins Quad 3 will be playing in the state championship game because they will squash, in an embarassing fashion, the team that wins Quad 4. I wonder if the TSSAA will even notice then how ridiculous their playoff pairings are and adjust before next year. Geography first shouldn't be the first thing that determines which quad a team goes to. Wake up TSSAA!
  3. It's not just according to the PC folks that we have the best defense. I calculated some stats using data from the TSSAA and Perry County does have the #1 Defense in Class 1A and 2A. They actually have the 3rd best defense in the state (336 teams), with only a 3A team (CPA) and a 6A team (Whitehaven) ranking higher. You can go to the regional standings on the TSSAA website and calculate the same thing yourself. Our defense wasn't ranked that high last year, and we still beat Wayne County. Do you honestly think that we can't beat you again this year, with a better defense and a more experienced offensive line that last year? That's fine. I hope that's what the team thinks too. They'll be in for a pleasant surprise.
  4. It still wouldn't let you send it that way, but I did find it. Thank you!

  5. I was just wondering where you could look at this information. I would like the link to that site to see and to have for future reference please. Thank you!
  6. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Guess you are the one that has no chance at all in this one. Predicting the outcome of the game, that is! Good one!
  7. For your information, that is not the biggest thing to happen for our county since, well ever . . . We have won quite a few basketball championships here, at least 5 or 6, but I guess you didn't know that. How many championships has your school won or as you put it, has anything big happened at your school since, well ever?
  8. Absolutely this year's Mr. Football should go to Jacob Tucker of Perry County. Jacob was a nominee last year during his Junior year. Also, last season (2010), he broke at least two TSSAA state records, one for most touchdowns in one season (Rushing and Passing) - Individual, where he had 55. He also broke the record for total offense in a season (Includes Rushing and Passing yards only) - Individual, with 4,319 yards. In addition to that, he led the Vikings to an undefeated Region 6A record and their first Region 6A Championship, their first number #1 seed in the TSSAA playoffs and West Bracket Champions and the first ever semi-final appearance by the Vikings in the playoffs. Not only is this young man deserving of this award, he is also very humble, placing less emphasis on individual awards for himself while placing the focus and importance on teamwork. His success is also not limited to the football field. He excels in Basketball, where last season the Vikings defeated #1 Clarksville Academy at Clarksville en route to a state semi-final berth in the basketball playoffs. Furthermore, he is a 4.0 student, an upstanding Christian man with respect for his fellow teammates and the importance of teamwork. And even when Perry County had to vacate three wins early this season because of two ineligible players, he continues to excel on the football field, leading his team to an undefeated season so far this year, playing on both offense, defense and special teams, with the offense being ranked #7 in points scored per game after week 5 and the defense being ranked #1 in Class 1A through week five, and actually the 2nd best defense in the state in points allowed in all classifications with only CPA allowing fewer points at that part in the season. And finally, in the Homecoming game, he passed for 82 yards and ran for 29, giving him another TSSAA state record, total offense in a career, at 10,513, breaking a record held by a former Westwood star, Kenton Evans since 1995. In addition to this, Tucker is less than 10 touchdowns away from breaking another state record for touchdowns in a career. He has been chosen as the WSMV Touchdown Friday Player of the week THREE times already this season, making him eligible for the WSMV Touchdown Friday Player of the Year at the end of the season. He is liked and respected by his peers as well, being selected as Mr. PCHS this year. I cannot think of a better individual who truly embodies and exemplifies all the qualities I think are found in a Mr. Football winner and sincerely hope that this year's winner will be Mr. Jacob Tucker, as he is more than deserving for this prestigious award. Thank you. CM.
  9. I agree. I really hope that all the teams you just mentioned would be in different quads.
  10. I don't think focus or motivation will be any problem for the rest of the season. At least I hope I'm right.
  11. Absolutely! LOL. That's why yall were able to do so well against South Pitt last year in the championship game, right? And the only team that South Pittsburg has lost this year is to last year's 2A Champion who moved up to Class 4A and you already have THREE losses this year, yes to good teams that are likely playoff bound, but not last year's Champion. South Pitt is WAY better than yall. Welcome to reality.
  12. Sonny Moore's ranking are Computer Power Rankings. They are decent, I will give you that. However, I think that stats don't lie either and that being said, through the first five games this season, Perry County has the #1 Defense in Class 1A and Class 2A. And actually, there is only 1 team in the entire state who has allowed fewer points this season, and that's Cascade, a 3A team. Add to that an offense that's ranked #7 in Class 1A through the first five games and you have a potent combination. Furthermore, the points that our defense has allowed was mostly in the last few minutes of the game after we had our JV squad in. We haven't given up over 7 points in any game.
  13. I heard that Coach may not even pull the starters now so we can just run up the score on all the haters who are slinging mud towards us. If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 80 to 0.
  14. That's what I heard because we beat them this year.
