Actually the TC game is a much bigger game and measuring stick than Smith ever has been to the Macon fans. Westmoreland almost rivals Smith as big game if you want to really think about it from Macon's side. I did hear Smith will be joining the district in 2013, Sycamore will be going to 4a, and Jackson bumping up to 3a relace them in their old district. Makes since on logistics.

The problem with macon is they play no one during the regular season to get ready for tournement play. They border Jackson Co and Livingston acd. and refuse to play either. They never won a district title back when they were in the district with Upperman, LA, Cannon and Jackson county.

Macon did play with little emotion last week but I think Coach Pemberton learned about with dad's passing prior to kickoff. Prays go out to his family this week. He was a ledgend in Rockwood Tennessee and will be missed.

Macon has the athletes to score some points. Key will be the line. Last year Macon dominated the line on both sides of the ball. You can't compare records because there is no comparrison to TC and Goodpasture to Livingston and Decalb. Jo Byrns and Gordonsville are simular. Macon will least score as many as Dekalb did. I don't see Smith offense as high powered as TC or Goodpasture, so I say 31-28 Macon.

Like i said before, still a little too young. 8 sophomores on each side of the ball is a lil to young to get it done tonight. Still better than 1-9 of last year and on the right path. QB York and DE Sauceman are players Upperman needs to build around.

I think Dekalb and Smith need to quit worring about Macon's deffense and worry about there own.

21-20 UHS. Livingston has no one to block the new kid, 6-5, 240lb DE end, probably the fastest guy on team. He will be all over Mccoin tonight.

The kids from the last 20 years ago are not playing anymore, but last years kids are. Pemberton wasnt coaching in the past either and he has NEVER lost to Maynard. SC LA and Macon all returned most of the starters from last year. Kid on Kid....LA Decalb amd Smith were beat like a drum. All three teams Macon has played so far are better than any team the cobined 3 of you have played. And yes Jo Byrns is better than Gordonsville, speically if u wanna talk last 20 years like you do. LA and Decalb would both be 0-3 if playing are shcedule and Smith might be or at best 1-2 like us.

actually Macon county was 3-0 verse this weak district last yeat over Decalb,Smith, and Livingstone by a combined 111-44.All you guys stink.
