Central wins big!

I've always been a Karns supporter but this will be a blood bath of epic proportions. Expect a repeat of what happened last year if not worse.

I think they can win big if the offense can protect the ball. I see Karns winning it 35-14.

Quite simply Mobley doesn't have the grades to go to any major D1 schools. If his talents on the field would translate a little more towards the classroom then he probably would be wearing orange next year. Most D1 schools won't take that kind of risk especially one with very suspect character at best.

They beat Anderson County...a team that beat HV!

You absolutely do NOT want Coach Reeves as your head coach. He will make the program worse because of his attitude and the way he treats his players.

This Friday's game between Karns and Hardin Valley should be a good one. Karns wants this win to improve their playoff seeding and Hardin Valley wants this win to avoid a .500 season or even being bumped from the playoff picture. This is a BIG rivalry game and if both teams can play to their own potential and avoid costly mistakes, it should be a good game. I'm giving the slight edge to Karns because they are coming off a big win over Anderson County and a bye week, while Hardin Valley comes off of a disappointing loss the Anderson County.

This should be a pretty good game. Not much defense from Anderson County but they have a pretty solid offense. Hardin Valley needs this win to stay alive in the playoff hunt. I predict that AC will win this one in a battle of offenses. I say AC-35 HVA-28. Any predictions?

Great to see that Karns made history! As a long time Karns supporter, to see those kids so happy was really something amazing. They have a bye week this week then they play Hardin Valley.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't HVA get stomped by Powell like Karns did? 42-10 if I'm not mistaken. The same HVA who narrowly escaped Campbell County? Take advantage of your time and focus more on your school work and leave the grown up talk to the adults.

I'm with you 92Dragon...Karns defense is alot better than what showed on friday night. Just from watching on tv last week, you could tell those kids were a little shellshocked with the game being on tv and all the media attention. I imagine none of those kids are use to that, mostly cause its never been the case at Karns. With that said AC doesn't have a good defense but can make up for it with their efficient offense. Should be close.

Oak Ridge is a good football team, there's no doubt about that. They scored early and forced Karns into some costly turnovers and took advantage of the short field opportunities. The next two games for Karns against Anderson County and Hardin Valley are crucial. Both teams seem to be fairly evenly matched. Hope Karns can get their winning season and move forward in the right direction.

Let's take a look at the quality of the opponents that Oak Ridge has beaten shall we. Halls(1-6) Central(1-6) Anderson County (3-4). I see no winning records there either. A win is a win and a loss is a loss!

I think that was Hall's game plan against Karns...they scored 6 offensive point against Karns Varsity defense. Good luck with that!

I dont know Coach Witt on a personal level but the atmosphere that he and his staff have created at Karns is something spectacular. Those kids believe they can win every time they step on that field.

Well as an avid Karns Beavers supporter, I hope they right the ship against Hardin Valley and get a win. Would really benefit the Beavers for playoff contention and give those guys a much deserved victory.

Their players seemed completely uninspired. Maybe it's time for a coaching change?

If Karns can come out focused and play like they know they can win, then I feel they can pull it off. Karns defense goes full throttle at all times and aside from the Powell game has played lights out.

HTV...kdog is correct. Mobley was left in the game until there was about 7 minutes left in the game....I'd say that pretty much speaks for itself.

That will be a rough game. Knowing Coach Lowe he will play all of his starters so Mobley can get his 250 yards and 4 tds.

I was at the Karns vs Halls game. Karns was impressive from beginning to the end. All that talk this week was that Halls offense had "come together" and would beat Karns. Karns defense only allowed 6 point in the game. The other TD from halls was scored on Karns JV team. Remember, this is a Halls team that get OR and AC a run for their money. Don't count Karns out of this game at all. Karns defense knock the heck out of the other team. Ask Halls QB, it was all he could do to stand up after every play. Karns offense has found what works for them and OR will see it first hand. Can Karns get a little love please?? GO BEAVERS! I hope you give OR a beating.

I say Karns wins 21-0...Karns defense is hungry and will overwhelm Halls offense.
